i know bro you are right...but all the movies you see of Makato Shinkai is not done by himself alone....a lot of animators work together to make a movie it takes months and years and a lot of money....even india can make animations like that....there are a lot of professional artist in india don't forget our country is 2nd in world most populated countries ....we have a lots of people but we dont have Budget ...in our country only a few people likes watching ANIME ....but slowly the demand is increasing more and more people have started to accept Anime ...And believe me bro one day i will make cartoons like anime in India...Its My dream...Hope you will to see on day

I guess you should what you're good at and you love doing because at the end of the day talent is more imp than demand or money. If you make yourself perfect and flawless in 2d animation you will definitely get a job in you're desired profile but at the same time learn as much as you can not for the sake of joh or only to earn money learn for yourself and to make yourself all rounder because in animation industry multitasking people are always in demand.
