Arctic wolves are incredibly affectionate. We rescued one found with her mother passed away in a ditch. Gracy was the only puppy who survived. 14 years later and she's still going strong. They will always however; have that wild instinct. She doesn't tolerate the presence of other animals for long, but shes as loyal as they come.

I live in northern Ontario and at our town’s garbage dump (which is way out in the woods), there are a few wolves living there and they aren’t afraid of us. Sometimes when people go to the garbage dump, they feed the wolves lol.

Not friendly. Curious. People seem to be equating it to a dog running up to ya because he wants your attention and a belly rub. They don’t want that. They just want to investigate. Animals like this who get too cozy with humans die. Please do not ever let a wild animal be happy he’s near you. If you’re unsure why, google why do we kill friendly bears. They probably aren't going to bite, they are just curious, you might even get lucky and pet one, there is no sign of aggression here, of course you can't just assume they won't get defensive about anything, but their showing signs of friendliness and curiousity this is all a good sign.

But they lack the bark. After they got domesticated they need to aquire a bark. A wolf howl is only useful to other wolves. Humans need them to bark to alert them of any potential danger outside the human/canine pack.

acually. alot of docile wildlife are not usualy too scared of humans or usualy cause of threat. ive pet deer. had acouple wolves check me and friends out. of course take percautions but ive never had an issue
