Cryo-sleep, alien life, black holes, and traveling at light speed appear in almost every film about space. But how realistic are these depictions about what actually occurs beyond Earth’s atmosphere?
In this episode of Expert Witness, we turned to Mike Massimino for answers. Massimino is a former NASA astronaut who now teaches mechanical engineering at Columbia University and also serves as the senior advisor for Space Programs at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

I even thought they had some system to turn their "waste" back into drinkable water tbh. Guess that was just some dram from "Dune" which got stuck in my head.

@@OneViolentGentleman The International Space Station does have such system. It's not compact enough to be put on a EVA suit tho.

I hated the movie Gravity for so many reasons and glad it was not accurate! it was so boring I regret watching it in the Cinema waste of money
