An Awkward Interview With Peter David and DCC Shenanigans

So to fill for time while I work on another review, I decided to make a video about my trip to Comic Con just so I could say I put out 3 videos in as many weeks. It was really fun to meet one of my favorite comic authors and I got to ask him some burning questions that were plaguing me, and he answered them like a trooper. Thanks to Peter David for letting me ask these stupid questions, thanks to David for filming the convention for this video, and thanks to Jackson for holding the camera while I made an ass of myself in front of someone talented. New review coming soon. Oh, and thanks to all 1,800 of you for being the best damn viewer base on this whole website.

I'm surprised he didn't say Quicksilver as well because everytime he writes X-factor he puts Quicksilver on the team and unlike most writers who just make him the stereotypical jerk hot head he actually put depth into the character. Like for example Quicksilver says the reason he's always grouchy and impatient is that unlike other comic speedsters like the Flash he can't really stop going fast that he's constantly in motion, that he always has to slow down for people that everyone talking to him is like waiting for a person to finish using an ATM.

Yeah people like to look over Quicksilver but I think he's a very Interesting character and his relationship with the Scarlet Witch make for in my opinion one of the best sibling duos in comics.

Nice bro! I went to ComicCon a lot but then i learned about Wonder Con, which is essentially comic con, but a little bit smaller and is more focused on actual comics. I live near LA so going to it is no problem, but i dunno where you live, maybe Denver, but you should most certainly check it out.

I'm working as fast as I can. It's about half done, but I want this one to be special so I'm really taking my time to make sure the editing and writing is as tight as possible. I've probably revised the script 9 times before I was happy with it.

I remember the first comic I ever got that wasn't stolen from my dad's collection, it was Spider-Man 2099 #8 and I got it in the mail via print sub, I remember seeing that in my mailbox and going batshit crazy and I brought it to school the next day to show off and ended up getting a tear in the cover

Soon. I'm kind of working on some other stuff to come out before that because that review is going to be long and I need to keep doing prep work for it. It''ll be worth the wait though, I promise.

I actually have a digital version of just about every Daredevil comic I could find up until 2014. I just haven't had any time to sort though and read all of them. I would really like to get more educated about the comic version of the character, but as it is, I love the show.

GameBrosTMT I would say I definitely think it's the best comic show out there right now. Don't mistake that for saying all others are bad or something, but I think Daredevil is the one that hits its mark with the most finesse.

It's funny that you were showing DOOM when talking about Karl Urban, because he was in the DOOM movie, which I think came out in 2004.

That was the reason I considered having him sign it, although I'm not sure how he'd feel about it considering it's probably one of the least memorable things he's been in. He really seems to be pushing for that Dredd sequel though, and I am excited to see that get some traction.

DarkHero Gamer He said that it was in development a few days ago, but then kind of went back on that statement so I have no idea where it's going. He might have just been testing to see if people got super excited about it so he could make a point to a producer or something.

Found a pair of Spider-Man sunglasses and hacked them up with a dremel tool. Then I stitched them on and used hot glue to make sure they wouldn't move around. I hated how hard it was to see out of the mask originally and the eyes I stuck on were more comic accurate and functional.

Thanks. I'm just as shocked as you are pretty much. I've been doing this for a while and I always had a feeling that if I just kept making videos that I liked, people would start to notice eventually. It's kind of surreal now that it is happening. I really don't know what to do about it other than just keep going the way I have been and hope people like it.

Afro Luffy Thank you so much. That sincerely means a lot to hear that. I mean, I know people are really only here for the Spider-Man reviews, so to hear that someone is excited about my other stuff too makes me feel a lot better. I have like 5 scripts written for videos that I haven't gotten to yet, and I can't wait to start working on them. I definitely think everyone will be interested in what's coming next for the channel, because some of these projects are pretty ambitious.

hey I was wondering if you could review the Spiderman show from 2003 since I feel its very underrated and all though the cg is very dated it is still an entertaining showi minus a few problems here and there. to bad it only ran for 1 season aa it was meant to show us what peter was doing between Spiderman 1 and 2 However it was cancelled due to inconsistencies.

It's crazy right? It feels like even less time. I always go to sleep and wake up with almost 100 more. It's a little intimidating to be honest, but still really exciting at the same time. I just hope whatever I do in the future, people will keep enjoying it.

Tim Mizelle It was for a while, but I got a little disillusioned with it because it felt like no one was really watching it. I have considered the idea of just handing all the footage over to Kyle and having him post it on his channel.

Mine's an original one too, with the red shiny cover and everything. I'm not old enough to have bought it myself though, it's my dad's copy. He pulled it out of storage and handed it to me when I said the writer was going to be at the convention this year. I'm really glad I got it signed.
