An Easy way to paint 1/35 scale U.S. ACU camo figures. (MasterBox)

Hi !
This is the second painting video of the modern U.S. infantry ACU uniform pattern. In the first video, I painted LEGEND PRODUCTIONS US infantry resin figures. In this video, I used injection kit figures of MASTER BOX.
All the heads were replaced with resin products. And I also changed the poses little by little for the diorama.
The painting technique is the same as in the first video, so I tried to make a little difference in the personal equipment of the figures.
Along with LEGEND PRODUCTIONS resin figures, these will be put in a Middle East diorama later. I will show you again then.

The ACU was used ruffly from 2005 to 2019 but is now for the most part phased out for OCPs

Very true (thank God) but it is correct for the timeline of the figures.

True but you can only do those figures till the IOTV came into use between 2009-2019 which replaced the Interceptor vest.

Thank you for your comments. I'm planning a diorama around 2010 with these figures. There may be some historical inaccuracy in terms of clothing and equipment, but please understand ! 🙂🙂🙂

현대 위장 군복 도색하기 어렵다 생각했는데 쉬우면서도(?) 효과 만점이라 생각합니다. 뛰어난 테크닉 이십니다. !! ㅎ

원칙적으로 이 ACU 군복, 특히 이 UCP 타입은 점 찍듯이 디지털 패턴을 그려야 하는데... 저는 오히려 이 느낌이 더 멀리서 보는 실제에 가까워 보였습니다. 어렵다기보단 지루함을 꾹 참고 멍하니 계속 그려야하는 기법이라서요. ㅎㅎㅎ 한데 최종 단계를 거치고나면 의외로 괜찮습니다. 영상이나 사진보단 실제 육안으로 보면 더 괜찮구요.^^ 영상 봐주셔서 감사합니다.

영상을 모두 핸드폰으로 찍고 있거든요. 거치대에 달아서. ㅎㅎㅎ 인형 작업에선 특히 확대해 찍다보니 자꾸 초점이 나가버립니다. 세밀한 붓질들이라 더 선명히 찍히면 좋겠는데, 늘 아쉽네요. 영상 봐주셔서 감사 드려요 ! 🙂

A very good representation of the lamest camoflague the Army ever had (Son #2 despised it). The ONLY critique I have is the helmets have a 3-point suspension system, there should also be straps coming from the back to the front. Other than that one nickpit, excellent job with good details (M81 Woodland is best camo!). Much respect and best regards.

Many people talk about Woodland camo with their favorite camouflage patterns. Someday, I want to officially paint that uniform! I wanted to make a diorama with these ACU military uniform figures. I felt its own charm while painting and making it. 😄 Thank you for watching this video !

Wish there was a way to show a picture of the real ACU uniform as in reality it is a 3 tone pattern not 2 tone. I have the complete uniform hat jacket and boots and the main color is either a buff or beige with the two different shades of gray that make up the pattern.

HI ! I also have a replica ACU uniform that looks like a real pattern. At first, I tried to paint it as if I were dotting it with three colors, but it felt different. So I made a way to draw it easily with a two-color pattern that looks like three colors. 🙂 Thank you for watching the video!

@graperun818 what I have noticed with the ACU uniforms is a slightly greenish hue to one of the Grey colors in the pattern.
