Gun used as a movie prop real, fake or working or not, is a prop gun in movie terms. I have bought working vintage hifi gear living in north america, that was used and sold as surplus 'movie props' on an auction. Movie prop dealers sell and rent out to movie productions all kinda real working stuf like guns and Hi-Fi stereo gear of all years and categories and price range. Again: The ones that are responsible for the tragic death on the Rust movie set: as you put it is the people who were hired to handle the safety of the prop guns, and make sure there are no (life) rounds in it. Well he Baldwin told the truth, and didn't pull the trigger. I explain AGAIN: Certainly no double jeopardy / nebis in idem ? Well it is def. on the edge and a higher court can decide either way, yes or no. But as relevant and a legal no brainer in this case: The non voluntary manslaughter (alleged) , and thus criminal liability / guilt in this case. Is with those who were hired to provide.maintain the prop fire arms. That was not the defendant mr. Baldwin who received the cold, but in reality not cold gun via those responsible for it with a life round which wasn't allowed and used on the set. And NOW AGAIN. For a revolver to go off and fire A) One pushes or pulls the trigger backwards so the 'cock' or hammer retracts and releases and the fire pin hits the in this case life round and fires the gun OR B) pulls only the hammer backwards and releases with you hand slowly or not and when the fire pin in the revolver hits the round to hard it WILL go off. Baldwin tells the truth: Is not lying. And the so called fire arms expert who claims firing a revolver by manually releasing the hammer or cock deliberate or not this way, with out pulling the trigger (first), has very likely never had a real revolver in his hand with a hammer that can be manually pulled back and released and fire the gun that way, or is an idiot or corrupt! Hence: Baldwin is again 100% innocent, not guilty as charged! And not criminally liable for the death of the shot by accident victim! The deceased was very likely partly responsible for her own death handing the gun to Baldwin while calling it COLD..? Tragic it was and still is.

@@nwbklr the reason Susan and myself feel this way about titling her response as “emotional” is because of the common narrative that women are “overly emotional” beings in general so using that word in the title just doesn’t do justice to what Brooke did here. While it may be accurate, it wasn’t the best choice to show the respect owed, in my opinion.

I had never heard of Brooke Baldwin until today when she hosted the Ellen Show. I immediately fell in love with her intelligence, empathy, and beauty. I think she would do well as a talk show host also. Her compassion and honesty with her coworker Anthony Anderson. Was genuine.
