I actually just won my tenth Stanley Cup in NHL 17. I ended up playing four years for the Rangers, five years for the Penguins, and just signed a 4 year, 11.4 million dollar contract with the Kings. We ended up playing the Penguins in the Cup final and beat them in five games, with ot game clinching win. I’m like 300 points away front beating Gretzky…that should tell you all you need to know. In summary, I have zero social life…

Tank an interview by picking star for the whole conversation you will end with a score of 3-5. Pick team for every answer you will end up with a score of 97-99 works every time. So far I got careers with the oilers, blue jackets, ducks, sharks, devils, red wings, and kraken. Agree sabres are dog shit. Also I found if you only score 1 assist per game and score no goals and go out 3rd round in Europe you will most of the time get drafted between positions 3-10. If you score 1 assist point once every 2 games in Europe and go out 3rd round you will get between positions 11-40. Also if you enter Europe and go out second round you have from November until September for training your player with training hours between 18-29 hours every 7 days. Where as memorial cup you have between July and September

Same refs same fans same goalie animations after a goal is scored from nhl 14 same goal celebrations for the comps and same default celebrations for when you score to from like nhl 16 the only thing that's not copy and paste from past nhl games is x factor but it is a copy and paste from madden

You have to set it up manually. If your name is not in the options than u have to pick a different name.

When creating your player, under the info section where you put in your name and hometown and whatnot, there should be an option called play-by-play name. This is a database of currently active pro hockey player names, and if you don't share a surname with any pro hockey players, it likely won't be on the list. There are some generic nicknames you can pick from as well, but it's mostly based on surnames from Players Spanning all the pro leagues

Vegas was lucky, but they had alot more going for them. They were not hampered by alot of the same issues that every other expansion team has had. McPhee was also a genius and hustled alot of GMs in trades for players and picks, and most of the GMs have gone on record saying they didn't fully understand the draft protection rules, leaving alot of good players exposed. This time around GMs literally weren't playing ball with Francis, on top of the type of moves and players just not being available to Francis this time around. The NHL also wanted Vegas to be viable right out the gate, they HAD to be if they want to contend with/get into bed with that casino money. Who wants to waste time and money going to see a bad hockey team when there's a million other things in Vegas to do? Bettman wanted to establish a strong team and strong fanbase. Seattle has been wanting a team for years, and has a deep hockey history, Seattle won two Stanley cups back in the 20s as the Metropolitans. So they don't have to worry about people buying into the team in Seattle. And on paper, Seattle is a good team, not as good as Vegas was initially, but they will get better in short order. In expansions of the past you could expect 8-10 years before an expansion team was viable, and if they could even survive that long financially. Also why expansion teams used to be put in their own division, can't have them take an original six or currently popular team out of the playoff running, but also need to make the playoffs for fan investment, and as an easy opponent for the "real" NHL teams,
