Regarding Jawo: “He was named Most Valuable Player in 1978. Jaworski's MVP performance may arguably be considered as his best single season, averaging 20 points, 12 assists and close to nine rebounds per game. This was done despite the presence of hulking imports with no height limit - imports he played alongside and against with.” Si Jawo 6x first team and 2x second team. Nung 1985 nagging member din si Jawo ng all defensive team, kasama nya dun si Abe. Si Atoy, naging all defensive team member ba? Ilang MVP napanalunan ni Atoy? Di ba isa lang din? Kelan naging basehan ang signature move para masabi na Hindi average player ang isang basketbolista? Despite Jawo’s stats, achievements, and awards, average player lang pala si Jawo. Lol. Tama si Abe, kahit among pagbubuhat ng bangko ni Atoy Hindi nya mahihigitan si Fernandez or Jawo. Eh sabi nga ni Varela sa interview, mas sinisigaw pa pangalan nya kesa kela Atoy eh. Lol.

1989 ALL STAR game kasama pa sina Jaworksi, Fernandez at Philip Cezar.. si Atoy Co nanonood na lang.. Laos na kc wala ng team kumuha sa kanya...retired na yung mayabang hindi man lang nagtagal sa PBA

MVP si atoy noong 1979,, pero nanalo lang siya thru votings,,, whereas statistical points lamang si fernandez kaya supposed to be kalaban ni fernandez yung voting at hindi si co,,,,,

Napa Ganda mag kwento ni Manong Abe. I used to watch him a lot during his Toyota playing years. His style and role in the complemented well with Fernandez and Jaworski and Arnaiz and Tuadles. And of course , his good looks added more glamour to the team. Yan ang tunay na Adonis ng early PBA

Abe King is a true team player. He did all the dirty work and guarded the other teams best player. BTW Ramon Fernandez should have won the MVP in 1979 not Atoy Co. He got robbed.

Tama si Abe King it's just a matter of acceptance and they should accept or rather atoy co should accept that Robert Jaworski is Robert Jaworski regardless of what he is telling that there is no signature moves but the fact remains that Jawo is larger than life and his stature will never be replaced for this lifetime.

The best sila ni Philip Cezar during Great Taste time. Mganda ang combination nila, isang Scholar st Chairman of the Boards. Abe should be in the 25 Greatest PBA. Meron dun n 2 sinama n late dumating s PBA n d p dapat ksama...fan ako ni Abe since Toyota.

I remember Abe King mimicking Fernandez Elegant shots and side steps. But it was not graceful like Mon Fernandez.. ABE KING WAS TALENTED PLAYER.. I WISH ABE WAS IN 25 greatest player in PBA..

big J is better than atoy co in most statistical leaders... pag inggit, pikit... ka na lang atoy co... i love toyota when i was 10 years old at the time, and fernandez is my favorite and the rest of toyota stars... abe is so awesome as defensive player...
