The megaman archie comics is predictable and unpredictable at the same time , its predictable because we know what happen , it unpredictable because not only expand the character or story also rewritten some scenarios like the m1 robo master storming wily castle and etc

It's even more interesting considering Blues is... Different? At least I'd consider him different. He has worries and anxieties and displays them moreso then Rock n Roll. Then making decisions autonomously for himself to protect himself. It's almost as if they accidentally gave him a soul. Yes it could be said that Rock and Roll (and the robot masters) show interests and display emotions but I feel Protoman does so more. I don't think another bot shoes that much internal struggle until X is made.

Personally, what I really love about this is that Blues is mostly in the wrong here. Normally, I'd prefer both characters being "right" in a sense, because it's usually bad writing to make one person completely irrational in the argument. But here, this trope is done exceptionally well because the writers understood why it happens like that in the first place. Someone says the one wrong thing, or the other lacks context, etc. Blues left too quickly on impulse before the situation unfolded. He heard the wrong thing, and acted on his thoughts quickly. This is a good example of a good parent and their kid turning out bad due to circumstances that doesn't vilify them. In my experience, our worst judgements are formed and made long-term when we don't address them right away. In my case, my first judgements of people are usually wrong, so I wait it out until I observe things enough to be proven wrong. This is such a brilliant piece of work.

One thing I love about Megaman is that it takes that even past Zero to the Carbons of the Legends/Halycon era where everyone is 100% both man and machine, able to casually replace limbs with robot replacements or even entire bodies (as in Bon's case, poor guy is like 10 and can only say Baabuu because it's all his body is programmed to say) It really shows the whole issue from even further points. Like with Sera who loved being someone else's tool and loved them for being her Master.

It's been said for many years that the true villain is Dr. Light, for his lofty ideals led to brutal wars, and endless bloodshed.

Dr. Light regretted his actions this timeline for hundreds of years, I don't know at what point he realized he had made a mistake, but it's clear that he figured it out too late. I find it very telling that in the EXE timeline Light is perfectly content to pass on and leave the fate of the world to his grandsons, but in the classic/X timelines he keeps going for over a hundred years, he feels guilty for the wars his creations waged.

He gave him hands, a child's face, an even hair... But the burning in his heart he did not put there.

the megaman comics by Flynn is some of the best adaptations i have seen in a long time, he brings so much personality to what was a standard minimalist video game in terms of story and characters

Dr. Light literally built Rock and Roll to be his children. Proto Man left after being given the option to not fix an issue that he had with his power core that would have cost him his memories. Wanting to peruse his efforts further and feeling regretful for his failures in Proto Man. Dr. Light made Rock and Roll to be siblings and children of his. As he believed the biggest flaw with Proto Man was his poor design choices, and that no one could understand him. So he rectified these issues in the creation of Rock and Roll. Both were designed to be lab assistants, yes. But his children first and foremost. It's why Mega Man wasn't even a thing until Dr. Wily took over the first Light series robots and tried to take over the world. Break Man does have a point, but his point comes from a misunderstanding of Dr. Light's intentions. Dr. Light wanted to continue his efforts and simply hoped that Proto Man would return home some day. Or be recovered safely. It wasn't even considered in his mind that Dr. Wily could have found Proto Man and use Proto Man's hatred of Light against Mega Man. Dr. Light does not hate Proto Man, and given his personality. Likely holds a deep regret over doing what he did how he did it. Given that despite everything that Wily has done. Dr. Light still holds a deep regret and feels himself a great deal responsible for how Dr. Wily ended up.
