Reminds me of Francis Bacon's studio. I hope they do the same thing with Freud's studio as they did with Bacon's.

What happend to Francis Bacon's studio?

+Lextor Ben "what happened to Francis Bacon's studio" it was surveyed, photographed, drawn and measured piece by piece and removed then recreated exactly as Bacon had left it in Dublin's Hugh lane gallery due to Bacon being Anglo-Irish by birth, although most think it should have remained in London where he spent most of his working life after all..but the Tate did not acquire it,a major loss.

@@Myfactory62 John Edwards, Bacon's heir and Co-executor of his estate did offer first choice of the studio and its contents to the Tate but the Tate did not pursue the donation.

I would have so loved to have seen a painting of her majesty sprawled nude on a filthy sofa wearing the crown jewels. Pity!

I don't think he's going to get his security deposit back. : ) He left his house and studio to David his assistant? That was nice of him. I'm sure his kids weren't happy about that.
