Hi friends! We've docked the boat in beautiful Skagway, Alaska! We've got a big day ahead of us, as we've rented a Jeep Wrangler and bought a self guided tour through the Yukon up to Emerald Lake. We'll make a few stops along the way to check out small villages, spot some wildlife, and marvel at the breathtaking views of this gorgeous area of Canada. After we drop the Jeep off, we'll explore the town of Skagway a little more by trying some delicious local beers, local wines, and local seafood. I booked a 16 day double Alaska cruise for next year, October 2024. I did this so that I can slowly add more expensive excursions and experiences. I figured I would get to see and do more this way instead of booking a cruise sooner and not being able to afford everything so close. I'm going to have to look into that Jeep rental because it seems really interesting and I'll be in Skagway twice during the 16 days.

Ahh that sounds amazing!! You have a great plan in place. The jeep was a really nice addition, and I’m so glad we did it. It was a little expensive, but totally worth it to explore the area the way we wanted to explore it. Best of luck for next year, I know you’ll have the most amazing adventures! Cheers!

Yep, everything is expensive. Just budget accordingly. I say one splurge tour and one regular excursion.

Hi! The camera is a Sony ZV-E10 and the lens is a 16-50mm. Nothing super expensive or fancy but we love the way the photos and video look! Hope you have a wonderful time back in Alaska, we can’t wait to go back ourselves!

Hi! Sorry for the late response, didn’t notice it earlier! It’s a Sony ZV-E10 with just a kit lens for most of the shots, we use a 10-18mm lens for a lot of the selfie style videos
