Awesome lecture. So interesting to me and also makes me wonder if Mr Engelhard has an obsession with Tintoretto or if this is how he sees and explains numerous artists and perhaps misconceptions about them. Tintoretto did use clay and wax models for his drawings, it is obvious. That does not mean he did not draw from life. It is not a question of neither, but both.
