I love how ever since they brought Ermac back in Deception they've just been making him more and more of a spooky zombie warlock with each appearance

Just had a thought about Ermac: he's a gestalt of souls stolen from the Living Forest, therefore he's composed of Outworld's honoured dead. Provided Quan-Chi doesn't have mystic control over him, wouldn't those souls recognize King Jerrod as their rightful liege and follow his lead?

I just reinstalled and have absolutely loved practicing with ermac. It’s been so fun because he’s such a creative character. I found a few things with cyrax as that was the team I wanted to use but not as much as you had. Can’t wait to try all this out thanks for the vid

A couple more good kameos with him: Lao: after any enhanced lift u can set up an harmor braking hard to blockable with the hat + j2db22 also good to have a normal projectile and after a hard knock down u can use the air tp into air cancel or the normal tp to have a very good oki pressure. Jax: really good dmg in the corner and a lot of grounpond set ups with f4 and 42 into db2. And just another little thing with cyrax if u do f4db2db3 for the low mix u can call the vertical cyrax just before the db3 to combo from that if u hit

Im just getting back into the game, and enjoying ermac. Top tier video.

his mixup is KILLER

I've found that float into low and cyrax bomb breaks armor by itself, an easier alternative if you don't mind skipping a lil damages

Anyone else still dealing with the issue online where you are stuck on “searching for a match” forever even though you are on an Ethernet and high speed internet connection? I haven’t played in months and I want to because Ermac is my favorite dude but it just doesn’t seem worth it if I can’t go online 😢

I've had a ton of fun with this pairing since this video, but I'm not really convinced by the bomb set ups. My opponent still has too many options, or at least it's still a 50/50 on whether they'll armor wake up or not which is the same situation i'm in after any knockdown... might as well get my damage, no? B24 stuffs pokes regardless. Not trying to be a debbie downer here. I know i need more practice Also B24 has a phat gap that people can yolo mash out of sometimes, they'll get hit by the bomb but it messes up the conversion.

I still like using Scorpion Kameo soley for more combo paths, extensions and damage. Sektor is my 2 choice then khameleon being 3rd when picking a Kameo for Ermac.

Can also f throw push into self destruct bomb. I was labbing the same team even before i saw ur video👍. Very fun team

I was wondering if I could get some help with the cyrax destruction set ups? I’m a blind mk1 player and I’m trying to lab them but am struggling a bit. What do you do after the cameo call?

I can’t land the teleport into float.. any advice ?

How are you detonating the self destruct at the right time? I don't see your input for triggering the explosion and if you let him sit there it takes forever for self destruct to detonate on it's own.

any tips on the timeing or the chopper after push ermac keeps falling over when the chopper hits so i cant get the follow up jump in

With his air 123 (Kairn Kreator) sometimes, the pop up is more intense than usual. I've had it fluke now and then, but can never replicate it. Any idea what causes it?

Honestly they really need to un-jerky-ify his design back to the deception/mk9 look. I way orefer the mystic spirit warrior more than the undead ghoul

im just waiting for the nerfs from NRS they dont like keeping things fun. really kill the character and at that point we really in trouble for how long this game will keep people interested
