One of the greatest ever in his position. Only ever problem was he work ethic at times, but his talent was that immense that he was worth it. His partnership with ronaldo was something else as well. The fact he put up such good numbers with giroud, Walcott and co says a lot. Amazing player.

Santi Cazorla injuries and then leaving was what effected Ozil the most, no other player in the Arsenal team had the vision or passing ability to find Ozil first time in space. By the time he got the ball he had 2/3 players round him.

Would've shattered the single season PL assist record in 2016 (when he finished with 19) if he had actually had a clinical striker up top. Instead he had Giroud (who went over a dozen straight games without a goal), Walcott (who was injured most of the season), and Welbeck (also injured most of the season).

Wenger was lucky when he arrived at Arsenal,the entire back line was great so he only needed to concentrate on attack and attacking players but when the defensive backline retired or left he never replaced them i don't know why, he had so many transfer windows to identify a great player and buy him, if he had a great defence and dmf behind him and also better wingers and a Striker we would have won the league. He is such a talent i would built a team around him. Arsenal fans who called him lazy and who blamed him for losses should be ashamed, Wenger didn't know that defence wins you titles not beautiful attacking football.

Am Arsenal fan I really really Loved Mesut Ozil. But for me I admit coming to Arsenal was the bad decision, the timing wasnt right.the team wasnt balanced, it was tough for him. The media and pundits started to single him out for failures of other people in the club. Immagine Him at that City Team, or any other well balanced team

He was a really good player. Tbf, You expect a guy look him to get tackled all the time. Only reasons Arsenal fans hate him is 1.the contract 2. hes not the headless chicken presser. His technique didnt fade, the management just never truly built around him after wenger (no wingers for targets and a shoddy defense).

Sad to see Ozil retire. He was great for us at times. Wished it had ended under better circumstances at Arsenal. Had completely forgotten about that other guy. Who was he again? Some muppet anyway.

Couple of month before it happened, some NBA official did the same on twitter resulted NBA live broadcast got 1year banned in China and lost around $1billion. EPL was afraid they will suffer the same.. Thats why other EPL, LaLiga, Bundesliga & Ligue 1 teams wouldnt take him..

Probably the laziest Arsenal player ever it also didn't help that Werner was becoming a lazy coach in his first few seasons before he got sacked. He wasted his own time.
