The Chronicles Vlog Series (Season 6 Episode 8)
After Osaka Auto Messe, we had some free time to spend in Japan so I decided to take the boys over to Trial to see a shop that I'm familiar with, but they have never seen before. We take a short tour of their facility, grab some dinner, and head over to ACROSS. I told Joe that I'd bring him one of my books that he's featured in the next time I returned to Japan. Much to our surprise, he wanted to take his car out for a spin in the mountains and well, who are we to say no? We've heard stories of how great of a driver he is both on track and off, particulary making touge runs in the mountains, so it was an experience we just couldn't pass up. A warning to you now that the video is pretty raw being that we didn't expect to go out at all. It's dark, shaky, and super gritty but matches the aggressive driving and overall vibe we wanted. If you don't support this type of filming or the content, we understand and respect it. But if you do want to experience a little bit of Japan's darker side, you're in for a treat. It started raining soon after so we didn't stay out for long, but it's something you'll want to see if that is what you're into...

Quick question, is it more efficient to go up a mountain on a taller gear as demonstrated in this vid? Bc I usually bounce 2-3 going up, and 2-4 down. Maybe this is a better strategy for touge🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

They're offered in Japan by a small FRP parts manufacturer. We had a couple sets here in the US but we sold them all already.

Mark Andres they’re pretty close in age actually, I wouldn’t say there was a significant connection, just probably ran in Osaka around the same group of car guys.
