We, Poles, have such a weakness, we rush to help everyone and always, although all of them do not help us. We have a very difficult history with Ukraine, full of blood and cruelty. But it doesn't matter now, it's important to be human. Russia has always wanted us, so Ukraine defends not only itself but also us ... and we know it ...

The real heroes are those who help, who do their job and do not leave their important post - put out fires, provide medical assistance. People with guns are not heroes. There are many casualties due to them!

05.93.2022 at this Day we have about 500 000 refugees in Poland. They all find support and help from many poles. Ukraine 🇺🇦 is our neighbor. We stand with them 🇵🇱

Ukranian people want peace so they can go back home, others are passing n numbers of countries to get into uk demanding money, house and food, they are not the same. If the war will stop today, i can bet that all of them will want to go back home and i don't think that i need to point out that vast majority of people that are crossing the border are womens, kids and old people, those that can fight back they stay and fight.

@@jackeroo75 And these are real refugees, you are a refugee if there is war in your country and you reach the first free country, and you do not fly to another continent to live comfortably, interesting that there are no immigrants from rich countries and they do not fly to the poor. It is good to live at the expense of the taxpayer of the country the immigrants want to go to.

@@jackeroo75 The darker the color of the skin often becomes a bargaining chip - if you don't let me go, it will blow up and I will say that you are racist. The emigrants who first paid the Belarusians 4,000 euros to get there wanted to cross the borders illegally, most often even without documents confirming their identity. I think that they were deceived by Belarus, including the Russians, because they were reassured that they could do it without any problem. How is it possible that they sometimes looked for 4,000 km of the so-called help instead of asking for help closer? At the moment, most of them, with the reconciliation of Belarus and Russia, are crossing the borders with Ukraine nuelly. Currently, on the Polish side, mothers with children, invalids, the elderly have a problem to get to the free transport prepared for them, where free accommodation is also prepared for them, because other illegal immigrants want to get to, for example, Poznań, Szczecin, Rzepin - towns bordering on Germany.

NOw we have real refugees (mostly mothers and children) which PUTTIN forced to flee by bombs, and thay are running FROM PUTINS WAR. No it isn't. Polish citizens help with their own money. Caritas helps with donated money from people not from Church. Catholic Church and Vatican have unbelievable fortune it their treasury but they won't spend a penny to help refugees or anybody. They live in palaces, drive expensive cars but they vowed to live in poverty just like Jesus did.

My grandad fled Ukraine in WW2, he walked across Europe and came to the UK and stayed in a refugee camp. He is no longer with us but he would be devastated at what is going on now. I am praying for the people of Ukraine 🇺🇦 and that this war will end soon. 😢🙏🏻

Thank you for sharing your grandad’s experience and journey. If he left journals or shared stories about his experiences from one country to another, share them in a memoir. A portion of the proceeds to assist today’s grandads and family rebuild their life. God bless you.

Different choices he saw fit for his future. So he walked away, that makes him a peaceful man with no desire to fire a weapon. Every life has a different story to tell. His is just as important as yours.

I'm so proud of my fellow Irish people. We've raised 3 million euro for charity and filled huge buses of supplies too. Many Irish bus drivers, are driving the buses to Ukraine now.

It’s been nearly two million people now. Our cities are overcrowded but we are doing our best to help. I live in Krakow, where the citizens are showing their empathy and love for others every day. I have rearranged my work schedule and cleared Fridays so that I can do volunteer work. It’s my first day today. Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦

I dont think they would even want to fly to usa, mate. In fact im quite convinced that they would rather like to go home to Ukraine as soon as possible, as soon as the war is over. The children seem to be so resilient, but I feel for them. I especially feel for the elderly...this is traumatizing at their age. Many of the elderly are fragile and don't have the strength for all of this! They all need our prayers.

Let's pray for this to end quickly. Let's pray for the safety of Ukrainian civilians and soldiers as well as Russian soldiers and Russian civilians who want this to end peacefully. Let's pray for the Poles, Hungarians, Romanians and everyone who are volunteering to aid their Slavic brothers and sisters. Let's end this and rebuild!

Majority of this effort comes from regular people, self-organised, spending their own time, money, working there for 12 hrs a day for free, hosting refugees in their own homes. Amazing

Big shoutout and Much love to the UK citizens… I hear in one day, an appeal went nationwide on tv, for people to host these refugees in their own homes if they have spare room…..…. and in that same day, 88 thousand British people signed up to accommodate the victims and offer them a home to live in with them temporarily…. Omg that is absolutely phenomenol UK 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻, in just one day 88k British families signed up to help the people of Ukraine, bet there are many more now….that is so very heart warming indeed. This has restored my faith in humanity to hear this….god bless them all.
