I am a baseball fan and that was pretty cool. The guy who hit the 2 run walk off homer to win that game at Field of Dreams played ball at East Central Community College about ten miles from where I live here in Mississippi. Thanks for sharing this video.

Thank goodness for Universal Studios! Most often our beautiful farms, homes & buildings all over Iowa are lost in lieu of more crop land development or sold off to developers to expand our cities outward to cover the increasing costs of maintenance & taxes. Donnie made a smart decision in saying “yes” to this venture allowing preservation of this beautiful place blending old & new in a perfect way.

My wife was Iowa born and raised. Her roots went deep into that black Iowa dirt. Needless to say her favorite movie line of all times------"Is this heaven? No, its Iowa."

Ah ha ha - the guys putting on the baseball uniforms was hilarious! What a cool experience! Now I need to watch the movie again - been a long time.

I enjoyed this episode as I used to play baseball on a traveling team all around the Midwest in the middle to late 60’s. I also have never been there and see it is just north of I-80 Truck Stop so guess I will be stopping by there next June! Thanks

What a great experience to share with your friends, that was really cool. Kevin Costner went to my high school the same time I did, who knew he would end up making a classic movie like Field of Dreams, it's one of my favorites too. Yeah, John’s always off but only by half a bubble. Owen too! It was so much fun watching both ends of the country meeting up with their virtual friends in the middle.

If you film it… they will come. This week’s video sure has a different feel. Looks like a great time. Will have to check out the Basilica the next time we are in the area. We got our RV repairs mostly done in Iowa and are on the road again… heading East toward North Carolina. Tonight we are staying in Columbus, IN. Will be taking architectural tour in the morning. This small city has over 70 buildings designed by world-class architects. Turns out it is the home of Cummings Diesel. You should check it out! Also this week we visited the home of John Deere and Caterpillar too. Must be the Midwest

This channel is always entertaining and informative. But This episode was just a little over the top. Such a good movie. I believe it is one of my wife's favorites. I had no idea that Field of Dreams even existed. Now I know. I think I am going to stop watching your channel. You keep showing me cool places that I want to see. The list is getting just a bit too long. 😜😜😜

FSTM,,,,,HELLO,DEBBIE &JOHN, Nice trip to IOWA, , I saw the movie, as far as sports go,,from age5 -16 in 2 boarding schools we had so much regimented sports ,so not interested anymore The museum was great,down to the model house !, we are going down below freezing here at nights,a week ago we had a 5 day period. Of WICKED FOG,30 FEET VISIBILITY,AO AIR TRAFFICK SO EVERY ONE ENJOYED THEMSELVES, GREAT, , until next time, God Bless you. Safe travels,,,, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
