Good friends Billy Macey and Riley Murray lay it all on the line in this instant Boxing Classic in a thrilling encounter for a place in the Haringey Box Cup 2024 Final. Setting an unrelenting pace for 3 x 3min rounds, 2 of London Amateur Boxing's stars give a text book display of boxing at its finest. A must watch for Boxing fans and an absolute necessity for any and all aspiring boxers wanting to learn about the sweet science.
One of the finest displays of boxing and true sportsmanship I've had the pleasure of watching ringside! Its with great pleasure that I'm able to share this with boxing fans far and wide.

This was an amazing boxing match, well done to both boxers this was very entertaining to watch, i enjoyed every second of their bout! Riley's ferocity and tenacity to press forwards aggressively firing shots off to break down and pressure Bill, along with Bill's slick movement and accurate eye catching shots. The inside boxing from the pair was great to watch, have to shout out to the Ref for allowing them to fight a good fight.

Yes spot on. Honestly watching it ringside my hairs were standing on end and as if there wasn’t enough excitement in the ring, my battery warning light started flashing 2min into the last round and I was praying it wouldn’t die on me 😅 Perhaps the difference after all was those eye catching shots from Billy because it was really difficult to keep up with the pair scoring so many punches. The ref was good but to be fair when boxers box as these two did instead of holding and pushing then they don’t interfere. This was exhilarating to watch and text book study material!

Craaaazy pace but the technique on the inside is beautiful. The ref didn’t have to do much. Everyone has a go at ref’s for breaking things up but it’s to be expected when boxers and holding and leaning on each other constantly. This is a good education for aspiring young boxers!

Both great boxers and national champions. Billy did actually box for West Ham before Dagenham a couple of years ago alongside Riley, they were sparring partners back then

Superb bout showing off all of what’s great about amateur boxing both lads gave 100% were real sportsmen and both are a credit to their clubs and sport. They are Best friends too having sparred countless rounds together.

I think Riley won 2 & 3. A close bout not sure about unanimous. Both fought like Mexicans 👌🏼 these boys are class 👏🏼

Unanimous doesn’t mean it wasn’t neck and neck. It just means all judges went the same way at end scoring more rounds for one boxer over the other. Absolute class the pair of them. I wouldn’t have batted an eyelid if Riley was announced as the winner personally

Extremely difficult bout to score! Very close. I honestly didn’t know who won at the end. So many clean scoring shots from both, how do you keep count?!
