The LEGO 2021 Modular Police Station (10278) is definitely an instant LEGO City must-have set. I've been building my LEGO City for the past few months with many other modulars, and this set certainly improves my city! The build itself is beautiful and stunning, the details are clever, and it makes for a great center piece! This set is huge (second largest behind Assembly Square) but is definitely worth the hours it takes to build it.
I'll be giving an update to my LEGO City soon so you can see how the modulars work with the new road plates!

Hi Emma, excellent detailed review, I was glad you talked about the dug out area under the jail cell, I had seen it on M&R's build stream and was really curious. I liked your stream today, having your knowledgeable fella there for a while was a good idea. Also saw your X-Wing build, hang in there with the Technic, the more you do it, the more it makes sense. Best of luck with your channel!!! Oh yeah, also want to say I've been building sets for 4 decades and decals are the most terrifying part of the build for me too, I use the wedge end of my orange Lego separator as a application tool and it works pretty well. Cheers!

Awesome review, I’ve ordered my one and can’t wait to build it. Love that there are no stickers as I’m terrible at putting them on! With Assembly Square being one and a half baseplates, how have you evened it out so that the buildings match the road baseplates, have you added an extra half building? I’m looking to combine Assembly Square with the Spring Lantern festival so that they’re over three baseplates.

It would be great if there was was tree(like in bookstore modular) with extra leafs And jumper-plates AND that that extra leafs can cover unused jumper-plates

10:00 Even though the term DJ has its origin in the 30's making music by scratching didn't happen before the late 60's early 70's. As others have pointed out it is just a an old vinyl record player with a few LPs (short for Long Play - an entire album).

That's a good idea! And I'd do that, but I like the diner as the end piece for now because of the white beam all around it, and since we don't have any corner pieces. You're right though! It would be more visible!

why the wall between the stairs and donut shop shorter than the external walls on both the base and 1st level ? surely that means that wall is a single brick too low and doesnt meet the baseplate of the level above ?

it doesn't mean that's not allowed for kids to build it's just that there's more smaller pieces and it is a bit harder to build but even I'm 10 I think I can build that but that 18+ thing just wants to let adults realize that lego is not just for kids to make lego sell more sets I think

Great video. I have to disagree with you about the police set. To me, it's a simple build - not worthy of a modular. For so much money and size, it is surprisingly lacking good interior details. Only 1 cell? Almost nothing going on in the first floor of the police station? Need to take a criminal to 2nd floor for a mug shot ? No police car? No office for the chief? They thought they can make a story about a donut thief and that's it?
