We went to Sweden to have a week away and take on the Granna Gravel Race, A segment style gravel race which drew in an International field of competitors, it bought the perfect balance of a tough day out, 3 cafe stops, competitive racing, spectacular gravel and scenery and great vibes. Podium positioning was a really hard fought race with very little to choose between us all.

Interview the race organizers, learn about and promote the other riders, share some experienced tips and lessons learned that other can benefit from, highlight which of your gear is working and what you’re looking to change out… You have so much knowledge and experience.

Love this style of racing. There's definitely a need for rallye style gravel events, especially where I live where linking enough gravel to make even a 50km route is going to be 50% road, having segments is sick.

Great location. When I lived and worked in Sweden, our fika was very strong black coffee that you had to put a lump of sugar in it so it was drinkable. But it was a break and everyone in the department sat together having a chat as well. Great memories.

Blending blasting yourself / a segment with relaxing stops and beautiful weather / scenery looks like an ideal mix. Nice one. (Do miss the watts overlay though) 13:30 - I am a fan of the blue anodised Hope kit, it's such a great colour.

Nice Video Alex..... Here in Florida @this time of year we have to start at civil twilight, 6:00am, and be finished no later than 11:00am due to the heat. I would like to try that neck of the woods one day.....

Great video and great racing! I wonder if some more aero (less flappy) gloves could have led to a big gain and the few extra seconds needed for the win? 😂
