AE500 + Audiolab 6000A = Beautiful, clear, huge sound. These speakers are made for the human voice both in song and spoken word. The sound stage fills the space around and in between the speakers, it's hard to believe that all this amazing volume is coming from these little gorgeous boxes, so well made, handling them is like holding solid pieces of wood with state of the art drivers somehow embedded in them. The tweeters produce the clearest and smoothest sound, they do the most justice to female singers as with all high notes. The bass is not the deepest of course but boy, it sure tells you when it happens. These are great all round speakers, built to last with a timeless beauty and richness of sound that never gets tiring. The best value, love them to bits. Acoustic Energy, Yay! thumbs up and keep on keeping on. Five plus stars to you.

I've owned the 520's for about 6 months now and they are absolutely incredible. I've had more expensive speakers from other brands but these are just fantastic. So well balanced. Honestly I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have pair No.4 of the AE2s bought in 1989. It has had new drivers as the rubber surrounds degraded but I still love them. They compare favourable to £4K speakers now. Well done guys but I might need some new tweeters after 34 years.

(1994) Studio Monitor drive-units, which were damaged when suddenly My amplifier became unstable with DC voltage. J’avais une paire de B&W 684 colonne et des kef ls 50 réputées pour leur excellente musicalité, j’ai testé les AE 309 , après avoir écouté la AE109 et la AE 320 , …maintenant je me suis séparé de mes B&W ainsi que de mes kef , je n’écoute plus que sur Acoustic Energy , enceinte réellement très musicale et avec une finition rare à ce prix , …excellente enceinte, 👏 👏 👏

AE509 Owner, Very pleased with them. Fast and clean with brilliant focus and imaging, heaps of bottom end extension with good definition. Have also tried the AE509s against Spendor, Dali, Focal, wharfedale, ProAc and IMHO they bettered all of them

I own the AE100Mk2's and can honestly say they they will perform beyond all expectations for a budget loudspeaker! Make sure to use good electronics with solid stands and away from the walls to hear all that they offer. One last thought is to use a decent sub-woofer considering they cannot produce the lowest bass.

Had the aegis ae1 brilliant bookshelf speaker.

I have the AE 109 floor Speakers since 2001 and love them. They are warm sounding explosive as I understand reviewers terminology. Family reports clean open. Power Amp is accurus M80, pre amp Adcom 355 II. Music is house

I own a pair AE520 - love them so much - had auditioned the harbeth SHL5 Plus XD against these and the AE520 so much metre overall - they are the most vakuw for money speakers I have seen to date

I have the ae509 for front left and right, i have the ae307 as a center. I want to timbre match , would i benefit getting a ae500 and use that as a center?

Their carbon fiber tweeters are SMOOOOOOTH
