This guy is such a great guy, honestly how Alan White is still drumming shows us that he is not a quitter. So what if he's old? So what if he's unhealthy?? Alan White is the best

This is what has amazed me about Yes: Their music is complicated, difficult, intense. Yet each member of Yes pulls it off like the virtuosos they are. The musicians today are amateurs compared to the masters in Yes. RIP Alan. Your music was magic.

One of my all-time favorite drummers. Can you believe the same person who played on "Imagine" and "Instant Karma" (Lennon) and "My Sweet Lord" (Harrison) also played on "Awaken" and "The Gates of Delirium" and "Sound Chaser"? O, and "Owner of a Lonely Heart"?

Just heard his wife on the radio talking about the theft of Alan's storage unit last month. The drums he played on instant karma were stolen along with everything else. Long story, but Seattle police stood watching and let the thieves drive away without going after them. That's because of the defund the police and all that. Sad

@@lenorehigbee1474 Very sad, indeed, Lenore. What a disgrace. I remember when Seattle was a beautiful and sane city. The citizens of that once great place who voted for the people who enabled this outrage get what they deserve; but Alan, whose playing has given so many of us so much joy, deserves a lot better. Let's hope and pray that these items are found and that the perpetrators are punished accordingly.

Amen James, to all you said. I live outside Seattle and can't believe my eyes..yet, as you noted, people get what they vote for. Seems King county is the only vote that counts..outside that, nobody wants this. I'm in Kitsap county, still holding onto our sanity..by a thread.

@@lenorehigbee1474 Lenore, I used to hitchhike through Seattle on my way to Alaska many years ago and always loved the Emerald City. The people who took me in when I made it to Southeast Alaska retired to Mt. Vernon, which is still a lovely place. I also have dear friends in Eatonville, Tacoma and Mukilteo, so I know that not all of Greater Seattle is deranged. I'm hoping that Sea-Tac people will approach change with love and a commitment to the future. Change will begin with an admission that "mistakes were made" and one hopes the admission is made sooner as opposed to later. Rock on! Jim

Good to know it's not all crazy in Washington..that said, do believe our mail in voting is rigged. Not a single Inslee poster in our town, all for Loren Culp, yet Inslee won easily. Everyone I spoke to was stunned. During the Dems primary, ballots said you must check the party you voted for on the outer envelope, if you lied, your ballot would be disqualified! IOW, Trump. They open the ballots but want to know if you voted GOP so ...what? Throw it away? We must get back to in person voting, only way to a fair election. Anyway, rock on! Back atcha.
