A man dropped out of the sky one day. He walked on this Earth with his head hanging down. He lost all faith in humanity. Loneliness was not his Friend know. Before he found love on an endless shore. There he stood waiting for love like all strangers from up above. When I gazed into his eyes I saw my reflection hypnotized.

Richard, in this interview calls Love indefinable emotion. But I can put definition to the word, mostly because I spent years researching what it meant to Love and be Loved. Let me point out the obvious here- There are different kinds of Love; Familial Love, Platonic Love, and Romantic Love. Even so, what brings Love to form is very similar no matter what kind it is. First there are many commonalities between the one who Loves, and the one whom is Loved by them. For instance they are both quite, soft spoken people; or one is quite- the other loud and talkative, but both appreciate the quality they do not have in the other. There must be a strong admiration in the morals, integrity, loyalty, nobility, and such in the one Loved; or lack of it, or the way they approach it, or, or, or... The many differences in individuals mirrors the number of reasons one would Love the personal beliefs of another. And woven within that aspect of a person and how the one who Loves sees them, is that their Love for the other brings out a desire to be the best example of themselves they can be. As for Romantic Love, there are a few elements that do not exist in other forms of Love. Here I can only speak from a woman's point of view. I have never understood the thinking of men-and do not pretend I do. Well, I do not understand men who are not mentally ill and violent, that is. Having been raised in a family-including extended family members, who were mentally ill, extremely abusive, and violent, then involved in 3 long term relationships that were the same- I have a deep, innate understanding of the violent criminal mind. As to the stable, productive, man passionate about his work, masculine, confident, caring, Loving, and kind- That sort of man I know nothing about. But from a woman's view point, beyond what I've already stated that Love is... because she Loves and admires the person he is, she feels a strong need to be Needed by him, and wanted sexually. That ignites the physical desire in her and a whole new world of urges, sensations, and level of intimacy that is a bonding on a scale found no where else in life... there is a desire- a need for the comfort of another's embrace, a desire-need to be everything they need and want, and a knowledge that within that partnership is the one place they can be unguarded, their authentic selves, vulnerable even... and would receive the compassion and encouragement needed to shake off a bad day, to begin a fresh new one come morning. The best of Romantic Love is for 2 whole people, contented in their own lives, to find that one person whom is the mirror image of their own soul. That one who understands completely ones needs, hopes and dreams. The perfect world scenario - to Love and be Loved deeply, and be passionate about work, which is complementary; to the others work. A screen play writer, and a filmmaker; Fiction writer, and an Actor; a Football player and a sports Journalist; a Seamstress and a Clothing Shop Owner; Far enough apart they have plenty to talk about, but close enough together they can share each others glory, and be there to sooth the aches, and pains of a hard day. True Romantic Love is absolute, Every great thing, and every flaw is Loved in equal measure. The Lover of your soul takes you as you are- and still believes in you, is your greatest fan, respects you, and cheers for you even on your worst day. and forgives before its asked for. A Lover of your soul is the greatest Love of all. Once you are aware of this- When you know such Love exists- no one else will do. I left my Ex, the abuse and violence behind in October 2001. I tries to date for a few years, but quickly realized there wasn't anyone I could call the Lover of my soul. January 2005 I stopped dating entirely. If I can not have what I want I want nothing at all. And so, I am single to this day. I do not regret my choice, something I am reminded of everytime a yeahoo winks at me. Insecurities I have a few love trust who knew I'd lose that too. Put Frozen in Time. The love that I had hidden inside but forgotten, renewed and quenched. I will not drown in my sorrows no more. I would swim and endless Ocean of seas to be with thee.
