My gosh! I just watched your video and it was just amazing you see you manually select your pattern and have it knit up. Amazing! I also appreciate seeing you explain the underside of the carriage and how the needles travel through the carriage. Thanks for making this video, Alex!

It is so much fun once you get into it, especially small repeats, up to 24 stitches wide. I thought the explanation would be interesting for some, on how it knits the two colours. Thanks for watching! I follow your channel too! 😊😘

I know! What a shame! It was such a good accessory. I have already made a sweater with mine, it is so much fun to use and really increases your possibilities with the LK140/150 machine.

I'm a beginner machine knitter and I wondering, I saw a carriage on Amazon called Intarsia carriage AG11 made by silver reed for this machine ( I just buy this model to start ) is this the same ? If not, can you explain the difference ? Thanks !

Thank you, I go into too much detail! Haha. I haven’t had it from new, no, I bought it off eBay last year for a ludicrous price! Haha. Such fun though, if you are lucky enough to find one, it makes Fair Isle so easy and lots of fun on the 150!

I have been researching for the best, easiest way to fair isle machine knit. You made this look so easy. Your video was easy to understand. Here's the thing... what would be a compatible machine and carriage that would also be easy to find nowadays?

You can knit Fair Isle very easily on other machines, which knit pattern stitches automatically, Silver Reed make machine like this. Brother and Toyota also made machines like that.

It is the electronic KR11 Knit Contour. It’s a charting device.

Was that the sk2300 same as?

Yes, the SK2300 is actually a machine model, that was sold in Japan. It was an LK150 with an FC6 carriage as standard. FC6 is the name of the carriage itself but some are branded SK2300 as they were denoting the model of the machine on the carriage, that it went to. Bit like the LK150 carriage having LK150 printed on it.
