footage of boats fishing for herring off the West Cork coastline, Ireland. Irish fishing boat MFV Siobhanna hauling its net while pair pelagic fishing 1995. Two trawlers tow the net between them towards marks of fish and the boats share the catch.

Siobhanna is in arklow last few years , starting to fall to bits now, sad to see all the old boats ending there days in this manor

What are you talking about?? There are even trawlers as small as 10m, that one would be considered a medium or even kind of big trawler in Sweden

A small sidewinder trawling from her starboard. The larger keelboat started trawling to replace lining in the early 60s. Before that the steam trawlers were a little larger. They all didn't come from Lowestoft Hull Grimsby and Fleetwood...
