Love the fact they are Representing Irish villages or village as it was once upon a time...Understandable it is being shown as a Tourist scenery to show how life was ...Shame not enough of the Village is seen...Gorgeous scenes, wonderful Music, I know it is Irish, but with the Accordion its is Like Scottish and Not Like German as it is stated by one commentator...

Sorry to burst your bubble folks but this video should be called "An Irish village that specifically caters for tourists with stereotypical Irish music thrown in for good measure."..Ireland is not an 19th nation..It's a very modern country with highly educated people

I spent many happy years living in a small village in a timber framed, thatched roofed cottage that dated back to the Doomsday Book. There’s a smell that just doesn’t come from any other type of dwelling, warm in winter with a roaring fire in the inglenook, the kitchen range and cool during those hot summer days and nights. The sounds of animals breaking the quiet of the dark hours & village life where everyone knows everyone (& everything !!). Granted it wasn’t in Ireland, but England. Wonderful memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life. This particular “village” looks like a living working museum & if I ever have the opportunity to visit the land of my wife & her ancestors of many generations, this beautiful place is going to be at the top of my must visit places in the land of forty shades of green. Thanks for sharing.

Yes but its a folk park thats not how contemporary village life is like now
@letseatgrandpa29056 жыл бұрын
clay fada what do you mean?…
@clayfada69936 жыл бұрын
Simple enough .What you see here is village life in ireland as it was decades ago.What you see here is recreation in a folk park probanly bunratty folk park which is well worth a visit,but don't be expecting to see it any modern village.Rural ireland sadly is dying people are moving to the more urban east of ireland,Sports clubs have gone to the wall ,because they can't field a team or merge with their arch rivals in the next village Banks police stations post offices are closing.Its happening all around the world,but irish identity and culture is primarily rural in nature so its particularly tough

clay fada oh… I was looking forward to live in Ireland.

I am not sure about every European country but most of them seem to have land usually covered with grass ( probably because of climate) all over the place unlike many asian countries where you will often see land without grass for the most part of the year except monsoon.
@ODESSIT0485 жыл бұрын
It is amazing, I have had absolutely different opinion, so sorry.
@irishterminator. Жыл бұрын
It's definitely due to the climate because everything in Ireland is green and grass grows all year round

No. Not at all. The climate is very cool. Many of the cottages had peat fires in them that did little to warm them as the fires were so small.
