Hikaru is definitely on par with Magnus, if not better. But he is psychologically bogged down somehow, and is a notch down in discipline to forget the past, both immediate and long term, and hit back. If he can forget the psychological effect of every loss and focus only on winning, he will easily beat Magnus. Not an easy task we can bet. I would still bet on him, if he would just implement this. Time is key, and scant.
