This video proves more than anything I've seen in ages that a single zoom lens and fixed camera angles, even without any camera movement, along with clever editing and sound design, is all you need to craft a compelling story telling experience. Love it Danny. Love everything you do!

Gimbals and sliders and jibs have been so overused in the last half decade, that a really well framed locked off shot looks unique now. I'll take a single strong composition over camera movement any day.

Which zoom lens? I'm about to buy a good-quality zoom lens to simplify my life as a vlogger. Haha! As I'm currently filming with a Sony (a7iv), so I was thinking about the GM 16-35 2.8. It seems to be widely recommended, but it's a budget...

I love your evolution as a storyteller. You can tell that ITIS has made you an even more visceral storyteller. As weird as it may sound, urinating, defecting, and dry hump scenes show how much more honest that film experience made you. Love everything you do, man. Never stop.

The ability to create such beauty & story from what is so simple, so relatable, those everyday moments as life passes us by that we waste because we don’t slow down and pay attention enough, we either dread or take them for granted. Love to see your short KZfaq videos coming back. These never cease to inspire me to go out and shoot. The lighting the color and the shot compositions are all spot on. Not mention the sound design, you still have my favorite punchy keyboard typing sound fx. I really like watching these and reminding myself that I have the exact same camera and lens setup so it takes away any gear excuse I conjure up in my mind to procrastinate shooting.

Great Visual storytelling 🎉 to me You were the first amongst the others who shared the important value of minimalism in cinematography content KZfaq channel. I remember the video of you about to somewhere and doin whole video in empty room just with some cheap mic making the point that on the end of the day the engaging storytelling is the golden goal.

The textures are so good, my dude, love the use of close-up shots...makes me feel like I'm in your head in all these mundane actions. Can you share the source of the grain/texture you're adding?
