Its an acknowledged fact that this disease is a Covid vaccine risk. Its scary as it mimics als (mnd), Its the lesser evil and i would prefer this to als, this seems recoverable in many cases.

I was in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy when I was diagnosed with GBS during 2019. My symptoms quickly flourished after receiving a flu vaccine, along with a TDap at the same time, each arm, on the same day! Turns out I had an allergic reaction, and on top of being super pregnant I found it difficult to walk, or lift a pillow. I was hospitalized for over 2 months, plus post partum + rehab care for an additional 2 weeks. It was the hardest and most awakening experience of my life. Had to be babysat while caring for my baby, smh... I almost lost my life. Had a fever during birth and had to give birth early during the treatment. Approaching 2024, I still suffer from most of the symptoms, lingering paralysis and days of consistent, unbearable pain... but I can walk, work and still be a mother to my child. Being diagnosed with GBS has humbled me in so many ways. Everything that most people take for granted on a daily basis, like: walking, brushing, feeding and bathing thyself... it's nothing like it. But I also had some of the best nurses I might ever come across, that took awesome care of me. As much wisdom and value GBS has enhanced for me, it has also changed my life forever, physically, emotionally, and mentally. My face and body sometimes feel as though a train ran over me. Keeps me from getting proper sleep, playing with my son, affects my appetite, I urinate less than 5 times a day, and the pain almost never leaves, hurts to be up and active and hurts even more being relaxed and sleep. They gave me Gabapentin, but I'm not sure if it's working as much as I would like it to. I'm scared too, you're not alone...😢
