It has been profoundly influential over the subsequent thirty-plus years. Now the NRSV has been updated as the NRSVue ("ue" = "updated edition"). This workshop will give an overview of the NRSVue.

I would love a copy of the hand out. I'm a female preacher who has been kicked out of attendance at several churches, when they find my preaching online. They tell me I'm to be silent, but that's not what the scripture means. I was very PLEASED to find the NRSVue, as I was so tired of words such as anthropos (person, human) being translated man and he.

I am puzzled. This preacher seems hesitant to speak. Is he afraid? I notice that in his audience the men are silent. Is this normal?
