Thanks for reviewing. Used both models on a month-long shoot last year. My two cents: the controls (knobs and buttons) were subpar. The knobs were too sensitive and the buttons not enough. Tiny moves of the knobs made huge changes. The buttons often required hard mashing to respond, so you’d often have to cycle thru more than once after a too-hard press. The accessories weren’t great either. Barn doors were sturdy but heavy and unwieldy to mount. The egg crates/octobank were falling apart after a week’s use (and they were brand new, just out of the box). The octobanks are a nightmare to set up and take down. The connection points for changing the diff and intensifier are a hassle when you’re trying to change things on the fly. From a lamp operator’s perspective, they left a lot to be desired.
