Just an average day on the E-bike. Most people only know about the gas bikes, but i have been riding and building E bikes for the past 6 years. And have used it for 75% of my commuting in LA since I started. So here is a little look at what me and kristin do everyday.

I personally think older downhill mountain bikes are best for these builds. They are very stout and "heavy" so they sell very cheap as they are less desireable in the DH scene, but no matter when you have an electric motor to power it!
E bikes can be quite a bit more expensize then gas but 1000 times more practical and reliable IMO. Even though this one is pretty expensive, I have build e bikes for friends with very good range and speed 30mph+ for as little as 400 bucks including the bike.
