Who are we?
We are Adam (North American) and Bernardo (Brazilian) and we are husbands whose paths crossed back in 2016, when we both still lived in Brazil. Bernardo, Adam, I am so happy for you two. I, I'm sure like many others, have been waiting for this since I first stumbled onto you. Thank you Howard. I've been waiting for this for a long time, like so many others. Watching Adam and Bernardo fall deeper and deeper in love has made me want to fall in love again, I've missed that feeling. It's been so nice to be able to live my dream of traveling through them and now, with the most beautiful, romantic, heartfelt proposal I have ever seen, I can dream again. Brian Nailer I hope you had a Merry Christmas 🎄. Mine was busy with friends and family but now I can relax. You seem like such a terrific person, I’m surprised you don’t have someone in your life right now 🥰👬🌈. However A&B were in their 30s before they found each other, and I was in my 40s before I met my (now) husband. So love can happen anytime and anywhere you just have make sure not to let it get away when it does show up. Please let me know if you try any of my recipes and how they turned out. hi Howard. Christmas was, well, ugh...I was sick. Went to a friends wedding the night before and being out in the cold air kicked my butt. But, even though I spent it in bed, I got to spend it with my dogs, all 30 of them (yes 30, I have a second life home for abused and abandoned dogs), and that is all that matters. Life is not about the company you keep, as long as the company is true. I'm so happy you had a merry one my friend. As for why I'm single, it's a personal choice, behind which there is a story but not for here. I'll only say that, maybe one day I'll let love back in, but for now, my heart is safer being single. I will certainly be trying some of your recipes my friend and I'll let you know how awful I did and how miserable I failed...I'm a really bad cook. I can burn water...lol. As a personal note...suggestion...opinion...thing, Adam and Bernardo, I think you guys need to get Howard here to cater the wedding...SERIOUSLY!!! Love to all.

Another thing jumped out at me when I re-watched this video is: A & B playing in the snow captures perfectly what so many love about this couple and this relationship. We are observers of two little kids who are having a great time playing in the snow with their best friend! Never let go of this. Many things can change in a relationship, but laughing and having fun with your best friend should always a central part of a good relationship. After 17 years my husband and I are very different people, but the one constant in our life is we are still having great fun, laughing and playing with our best friend.

Stepsof2Foreigners thank you for the example you provide, so that young gay kids everywhere are able to grow up and see that two men can have a loving, committed relationship that is equal to their parents. I grew up in a world where I became a criminal merely because of who I fell in love with. To see the change that has been made, from being criminalized to marriage equality, in one lifetime, is almost too much to believe. We still have much more work to do for full acceptance everywhere, but your very public engagement (and then marriage) will go a long way in combatting the hate and lies spewed by the religious right against gay people in America. Ronnie, thanks so much. The videos are actually between Bernardo and myself but we choose to share them. That's how our KZfaq started but we can see that others are enjoying the videos. I know even if we didn't have KZfaq I would've recorded this special moment just for us to have. Would it be exactly like this, probably not, but I've always enjoyed recording or taking photos. You should see our family vacation. Probably 10,000 photos/videos are taken, haha.

I've been watching your videos from almost the beginning and I have to say that this was by far the most beautiful in every way - content (of course you 2 engaged men!), scenery, music, lighting. i dont know about you guys but I keep on watching this video over and over and over again. I love how Adam (who dont like surprises) manage to pull up his proposal to Bernardo. And I love how Bernardo reacted too when Adam kneel to the ground and pull out that ring. Emotions are over flowing, the love is genuine and everything is perfect. I am really praying that the two of you guys stay together forever. You are making my heart melt everytime. It is indeed true rules of the law cannot rule the matter of the heart. I had watched this once before, but re-enjoyed it tonight. My fiancé and I are planning a November wedding here on the Western NC Mountains. He is 66 and I will be 65 on our wedding day. You two have been such an encouragement to me; as one who came out in my early 50’s to my family, I was not sure if I would ever have a chance to experience anything similar to what you two have, but I did, and we have. ok..so many thoughts! first of all..congratulations from the bottom of my heart!! i have no words for how happy i am for you! you deserve the best life together. full of laughter, joy, happiness and memories. and most importantly..full of love. full of feeling safe. full of feeling at home with each other. full of knowing that no matter how hard a day, a week, a month or even a year was, there is always someone who undeniably and unquestionably belongs to you and will stay. full of moments of pauses to realize that luck isnt about money but about how loved you are. full of conversations, because if we forget to talk we forget each other. i wish you the most fulfilled life someone can possibly have. together. i honestly cried during the whole video. because of your eyes. they were glowing. all the time. because of how excited you, adam, were the whole time. because of every moment of seeing you bernado. because of your reaction to the proposal. and maybe also a little bit because i am so so so freaking excited, happy and feel so blessed that today we have the opportunity to actually get married. not everywhere. but still. there were people who fought really hard for us to be able to marry. to call our significant other "husband" or "wife" and not just for the sake of the word but for the sake of truth. this to me are the "real miracles". and im so so glad and happy you can have your own. your own miracle of a marriage, your own miracle of life. all the best and lots of hugs! looking straight at you at the beginning of the video...just seeing how misty your eyes were getting, you were so nervous, so anxious..i think Adam just like you i would open my mouth for freshly fallen snow from the sky and NOT from the ground..hehehe...why in the cabin or hotel were you whispering so much hehehe.. again Adam i agree the scenery with the trees and snow in them is so sweet..Yes Bernard his blue eyes really were standing out, i also noticed that...(Adam NO GRUNTING!!!!) The back drop was totally perfect Adam for the proposal, so with that said CONGRATULATIONS Adam & Bernardo !! Yeah you did it..imagine Adam that in all of U.S.A that destiny took you to Brazil, and Bernardo in all of Brazil destiny connected you with an American..i find that love can take a person to the ends of the earth/planet to find that perfect connection for a life time. However everyone has there special someone out, you just have to find them or they find you (needle in haystack hehehe). So how does it feel Bernardo to be proposed to and now your have graduated from boyfriend to fiancé..same for you Adam, how do you feel you have a fiancé and will be getting married in the future..i think all your subscribers were waiting for this one for a little while, so thanks for this video it was well presented...CONGRATULATIONS Adam & Bernardo!!
