I feel very fortunate to have grown up with them as my boy band because they really kinda broke the stereotypes or expectations of boy bands/celebrities, they went out of their way for fans, tried to keep fans involved in almost everything they did, literally hosted a 7 hour live stream just for us, made the effort to interact with us during concerts, got a majority of our jokes and even participated in them and so much more. They’re such great entertainers and that’s part of what makes them so special its just how different every concert was and how exciting that was to know that anything could happen at their shows and you had the chance to be apart of it.

I feel like you did Zayn dirty for his high notes section. Showing clips of him hitting the high note in Rock Me was fine but you should have shown his high note in You and I or Best Song Ever over Ready to Run because the note was nowhere near as high in Ready to Run. You showed Liam hitting the high note in You and I so you should have shown Zayn doing it too considering he originally did it

@@idk-ef4og so sad but I'm happy that you found a way to the family. It doesn't matter when you became a directioner. And it's not always advantageous to be a directioner from the very beginning. I can't even describe the feelings that I have for the boys. It's just that they have always been there for me when I was feeling down. They never ran away like my 'friends' did. They were strangers but they weren't. Their music helped me. Their videos cured me. I knew, even though they didn't knew me, they loved me. And they would never turn their backs on me. Then Zayn left. And my world splattered in millions of pieces. My heart broke so much, I felt like I had to die immediately. I cried weeks. My mother called therapists. My sisters called me crazy. They said I would overact and that I should get my shit together. Whenever I heard a 1d song and Zayns part came, tears would not stop to run down my face. I felt betrayel. But most of the time I just felt pain, pain and pain. Somehow I got over it. I'm still sad, but slowly I began to understand that Zayns mental health suffered while he was still in the band and that it was right and important for him to leave. I accepted it, but the sadness was still there. She will be there as long as I live. People - classmates, friends, strangers I met at parties and so on - laughed at me so often I lost track of counting. Their arguments were always the same: "You can't love people you don't even know personally." "Maybe they don't even like you when they meet you." "You don't know what they're like when they're offstage." YES, it's true, I don't know them personally. I know that they are not 100% the same as in their videos or on stage. But I also know this: One Direction is the greatest boyband of all time. One Direction saved me more times I can count. One Direction made my life a lot more beautiful (and a lot harder tbh :D). One Direction is the one great love of my life and that will NEVER EVER CHANGE. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS. I'm not a crazy fangirl who throws bras at the stage and wants children from them (well tbh I would do it but you know what I mean). I'm so much more. I'm a directioner. And that's more than I ever could've asked for. I'm blessed, I'm honored that I can be a part of this. And whoever says I can't love them bc I don't know them: Just fuck off. You don't know one tiny bit of the truth and you're not worth my explaining.
