Have watched this track so many times and it can bring tears to my eyes. The empathy between Ana and Ronnie is so evident. The expressions on Anna's face when Ronnie is playing solos. Music like this does not come along very often.

Anna is so under rated, because she is a woman. I saw her at the Bull Run (played there myself once) and saw her at a hendrix show, AMAZING!

It's tough, no impossible, to be inside the artists head when they are plying their craft. If you don't like their interpretation of their art............well you know what to do. As for myself, from the perspective of many decades, I'm glad to see any good artist at work.

I notice some people knocking on Ronnie Earl. He happens to be one of Ana's favorites. Ronnies not as fast as he used to be however he plays with so much passion and heart. I just saw Ronnie and the broadcasters this past Saturday and it was an experience like no other. Not fair to compare the both. They are both great in their own ways. Not Ronnie's guitar, and he's playing through a Hot Rod Deluxe instead of his vintage Fender amp, putting him at a disadvantage here. Ronnie is one of the finest, most articulate Blues Jazz players anywhere and Ana certainly has plenty of chops also.

Ana's tone was thin on this clip and her phrasing seemed forced and cramped with technical play, Ronnie's phrasing and tone were spot on and better served the piece. This particular duet was a tad clunky.

This is the first time I have seen Ronnie, I've watched a couple of his videos tonight. Although he is quite an accomplished player, I think he tries to fit in too much into the songs. He seems to have a tendency to come in too soon before the singer finishes the line she is singing. His timing aint great at times either. Sorry folks, just my take on it. If you watch the likes of Gary Moore playing, his guitar compliments his singing perfectly without one getting in the way of the other both blending into sheer magic blues.
