About Upgraded: Ana (Camila Mendes) is an ambitious intern dreaming of a career in the art world while trying to impress her demanding boss Claire (Marisa Tomei). Why are so many romcoms based on lies and deceit?

Because movies need conflict. A straightforward love story isn't considered interesting enough to warrant an hour and a half film. Boy meets girl, they both like each other immediately, and they don't lie or cheat or misunderstand anything... Doesn't really translate into a plot. Something needs to keep them apart and usually a lie is easier to forgive and resolve in the final act than most other obstacles, especially if the robe is meant to be light and funny.

D'une grande immaturité... c'est potache... scénario plat... les acteurs principaux n'ont aucun charisme et une mauvaise alchimie à mes yeux et oreilles... c'est surfait exagéré... ça innove et distrait dans aucun sens... c'est d'un ennui mortel !! Je suis pourtant bon public facile mais là non non non !!... Je vais pas m'étaler plus... marre des films svod qui manquent de qualité !!
