I honestly Agree. I love the Starwars Lego games but I don't like the fact nothing is ever Too Serious. I love the jokes but You dont have to add them Every Single Scene. Thats why The Complete Saga did it best, Had Emotion, Tone and a Little Joke.

I dunno about that. There was only one joke at the end and it was very light. I barely noticed it tbh.

@@comradelade5524 which was kind of nice. I know it doesn't make it balanced, but I liked that it stayed the most true to the movie. There was a lot of emotion in it. Skywalker saga is amazing but maybe a bit too many jokes in scenes where you would've wanted it to actually be serious for a moment. The mouse droid in this scene completely ruined that warm vibe which, sure suits a lego game, but could've easily stayed out.

@@mohabbukhari428 The Complete Saga has plenty of jokes, but it never ruins the serious moments, and it never makes a mockery of itself. The newer ones have too much jokes, they tonally kill the story, and they prevent kids from ever feeling sadness when major characters die, in fact they don't even show death, as usually right after the "death" the "dead" character will pop back up or open their eyes or do something else. It is simple-minded, low-class, and weak.

Yeah, TFA really got the balance right. It's just a shame that that game only covered TFA and the very end of ROTJ instead of serving as a proper remake of TCS (with TFA included). It could have been one of the best LEGO games if they did that, but sadly, that's not what we got.

They had to cover nine films. TFA only covered one and the ending of one more. The original trilogy only covered three. Your expectations are unrealistic.

@@LordGrim1313 the complete saga shown in this video covered 6 a decade and a half earlier, on top of having more bonus content, better extras and level design, and a character creator. skywalker saga just doesnt live up man. i mean, surely its a problem when you're a lego game in 2022 with all 9 skywalker focused movies in you, and your game has less cutscene length than the game made in 2006 with only 6 of those movies.

@@LordGrim1313 You're probably right, but I can count quite a few instances where the jokes were too abundant and too quick. If they took a few of those out then they'd have plenty of time to slow down the plot a bit.

Same bro that's one thing I love about the complete saga version, it had it's jokes but it also has it's chances to slow down and let these key moments breath.

anakin lost his hand TWICE.

They made a lot of the scenes faster and even changed some for pacing such as the gunship getting blown up before dooku's fight in episode 2

This, it feels like too quick in all the wrong places to me. I never played the force awakens, but she skywalker saga was a huge let down in many ways to me as compared to the complete saga because of that.

Especially the scene where vader picks up Palpatine. Totally rushed

@@RandomKZfaqr99I don’t feel like skywalker saga is childish but some parts definitely are but in the complete saga the whole thing feels weird like Darth Vader’s breathing noise also when Luke kisses Darth Vader it feels odd and out of place and mumbling makes it worse for me Edit: I forgot the music in TCS

And for the force awakens it’s the same for TSS

But besides nostalgia for the complete saga there’s almost no emotion Vaders mumbling I supposed could be a bit emotion though Edit: also with the music it makes it very well more emotional but it is number 2 for me

@@elias7748 It has the movie feel and the emotions, then throws a fantastic joke, making you like the story, while still having a sprinkle of humor. Which makes the cutscene nostalgic. Force Awakens has the balance between the two, making it look emotional but still humorous. Giving it a fun twist in the cutscene. Skywalker Saga is almost all jokes and a bit of the emotion, but it's still nice making it have the humor the old games had, but multiplies it by two or three times more, and makes it rely on the jokes to make the story a bit more enjoyable for almost all ages. For me its 1) Complete Saga 2) FA and SS(tie)
