The thing is that he knew padme would die if he didn't figure out a force heal. Anakin has always had the power to see things in his dream before it actually happens (kinda like a deja vu but a far more advanced version). Everything that occurs in his visions ends up happening irl similar to what happened with Shimi and his ability to see her suffering before she died

That wasn’t really the problem though. His problem was that he couldn’t let go. His attachment is what brought him back but the difference was that here, he didn’t want to live without his wife while in ROTJ, he was willing to let himself die for the people he cared about.

I suspect that Obi Wan knew where Anakin was really going and chose to cover for them in case anyone asked. He did know that Anakin was at Padme’s in a later scene because he stopped by and told Padme “He’s been under a lot of stress.”

I completely forgot he had a robotic arm too. And yes he's very well built. :)

Understand the moment his mother died

Anakin just killed all the tusken raiders out of vengeance for his mother’s death. But rather than return to the Larrs’s home with very little remorse, he feels terrible for what he did and knows that Jedi don’t seek revenge. He runs and hides in a random cave. Since Yoda felt that disturbance, who else was sensing it none other than Darth Sidious. A day goes by without any word from Anakin. Padme receives Obi Wan’s message and goes to Geonosis to help him by herself. Meanwhile, Sidious arrives on Tatooine and eventually finds Anakin sobbing in a cave. At first, Anakin ignites his lightsaber in fear. But Sidious uses his manipulative skills as always to convince Anakin to join him. He tells him about Darth Plagueis, and he said If Anakin helps him, he will tell Dooku to let Obi Wan and Padme live. The geonosis battle unfolds as usual without Anakin there. Dooku escapes, the clones and Jedi defeat the droid army, and Padme and Obi Wan survive. Later, he asks her why Anakin wasn’t with her. She says that he left to go save his mother and never returned. Meanwhile, Anakin, Sidious and Dooku unite on Corusant. They fill in Anakin on their master plan and start waiting to execute it. 6 months pass rather than 3 years. The Jedi have devoted themselves to looking for Anakin. Anakin has been sending them riddle messages so they can find out that the clones are a trap. Eventually, yoda and Obi Wan find both Sidious and Anakin. The final battles of episode 3 happen right there, except Anakin has his Darth Vader suit on already. The battles happen how they did in episode 3. Just before the Jedi were about to solve the clones mystery, Chancellor Palpatine, watching them, immediately activates order 66. Most Jedi were killed but a few more survived than the amount that did in the og timeline. And all the events of the saga happened 3 years prior to how it did originally.
