People can say what they want about the prequels. But one thing they can't deny is they had some damn good lightsaber choreography. Which even make sense story wise, since this was before the fall of the Order. So the dueling arts would have been at it's peak around this time. Before it was lost during the other 2 trilogies.

This version is what should have been canon. Anakin isnt even putting up much of a challenge, he's just toying with Dooku. He's in complete control of the fight. Which is accurate to how powerful his is at this point in the series.

I love how every time Anakin fights, he’s always applying pressure and dominating the fight. He’s always setting the pace for the duel and bringing the fight to them. But for all his power and strength, there is still this subtlety in every move he makes. Every attack he throws has a purpose. His battle instincts are off the charts. He is a true natural.

I belive Christopher Lee and Ian MacDiarmid were already too old. The director used luxurious wide shots, where the acting is visible. Today it would be easier (relatively to importance of the scene) to mask their faces on stuntmen, but in 2003 they did what they could, still an amazing job compared to the latest films. The duel with Dooku from the movie was top notch.

This is absolutely incredible. The choreography is amazing, the dedication from the actors is awe inspiring and the dedication of everyone on the team here is just unbelievable.. I wish we had this stuff nowadays, I feel like the quality of lightsaber battles lately has been very very mediocre

Nic Gillard’s choreography is true poetry in motion and that move Hayden pulls off at 1:17 was too cool for school.

The guy who did Dooku's stunts really had the moves of a guy who's a descendant of Charlemagne, is the vocalist to a death metal band, speaks like 7 languages fluently and once was a secret agent who had a passion for the occult. He was really commited to the role.

You got some info wrong. The actor of Dooku himself was all these things. He did most stunts as well

@@Unholy_Triforce that was the joke, the stuntman had to be convincing for the fight to work. Read my comment out loud.

Thanks for posting Nick, and thanks for and inspiring Interview with Star Wars Theory. The stories you could tell, wow. I like you have put your channel name in the video, and we all know the reason for that. Can I suggest you move your name further down, maybe even put one more in the bottom right side. You could also make it switch places, yeah it's annoying, but unfortunately necessary. With that said, I just want to say thanks for all your work on Star Wars, I wish a scene like this had made the final cut. Keep do what you're doing, and I will look forward to see and here more from you. All the best here from Denmark.

Christian was so ridiculed but to me he was a very impressive actor and here shows us his abilities as an athlete, such skifful saber strikes. Guys very nimble to.. He deserved a lot more from the fans..
