Man, I remember the first time I went to a store and watched Saints Row being played. I was mind blown by its graphics, I only had my old PS2 back then so those XBOX 360 graphics were pure insanity.

So an 18 yrs old game is still ahead on everything except for the modern lighting and rendering techniques and the higher resolution textures.

Que dolor ver como la industria de videojuegos en general esta pasando por tan malos momentos. Las fisicas ya no importan, ya no hay cuidado ni detalles que te sorprendan. Pareciera que la mayoria son juegos creados por inteligencia artificial de manera masiva. Yo veo este nuevo Saints Row y no logro entender como hubo un director detras de esto y que haya dicho que tiene luz verde para ser lanzado.

The physics in Saints Row 1 were the best! I used to punch pedestrians so they would run after me and then lead them onto the highway and watch them go flying when hit by speeding cars. Good times. The new games looks terrible.

Tuve la suerte de disfrutar el primer saint row en 2006 y fue de los mejores sandbox que habia probado nunca, luego salio el gta IV y ya cambio la cosa...jajajajajaja

Saints Row fue castrado no solo en historia y personajes, sino también en físicas y jugabilidad. Que ladilla con la corrección política.

A mí me ha estado divirtiendo el juego pero si hay varias cosas que el estudio dejó pasar, una de ellas son los efectos climatológicos ya que no llueve en el juego, el mundo se siente vacío ya que por momentos hay tan poca densidad de población que pareciera estás en un pueblo fantasma, las bandas dentro del juego se sienten muy planas a diferencia del saints 1, 2 y 3 donde cada banda se sentía con una muy buena estructura, el mapa me ha parecido muy pequeño en relación al saints 3 entre otras cosas más. Como comento, el juego me ha divertido pero a decir verdad hubiera preferido una remasterización o remake de los primeros dos saints antes que este reinicio.

Este Saints Row me recuerda al Watch Dogs 2 en donde los desarrolladores estaban más interesados en complacer y/o atraer a la "chaviza"/milenials/lo mainstream en vez de hacer una historia interesante con personajes carismáticos en un mundo interesante por explorar. En cambio parece que este juego depende de su fisica rota y sus ragdolls para hacer "reir" y/o "entretener". No se que es lo que piensen otros, pero este juego no es que sea malo, sino que es decepcionante y más tomando en cuenta lo satírico de la historia y personajes carismáticos de los juegos anteriores. Este juego se siente como la adaptación de Netflix de Saints Row. Estaban tan absortos en crear personajes clichés sin carisma en una historia sosa y poco interesante, en donde nadie se sintiera ofendido y en donde los enemigos son tan estúpidos que mientras los matas a balazos se toman una selfie. Que no se dieron cuenta que ya no era un Saints Row lo que habían creado, sino que era otra cosa sin el corazón ni el alma de un Saints Row. De nuevo, el juego en si no es malo pero se siente demasiado que se enfocaron en un público en particular sin tomar en cuenta a los fans de la franquicia. Y no esta mal querer cambiar las cosas y querer atraer a más público pero debes mantenerte fiel a tus raíces o mejor crea una nueva IP.

La industria del videojuego está experimentando lo mismo que el cine. Están haciendo productos malos y lo saben pero no les importa porque muchos de los que consumen contenido actualmente no son exigentes. Ejemplo: The Last Of Us Remastered, en serio piensan pagar 80€ por solamente ver unos cambios de modelado y gráficas de un juego que apenas tiene 10 años de haber salido, me lo creería de Resident Evil que hasta la jugabilidad cambió.

Lo que no me queda claro es como un producto sale así a la venta... Eso no es ni versión Alpha.... When the lead for the new saints row said "we don't call them gangs, we call them factions" I was out. That was the whole concept of saints row. New does not always mean best and that's very apparent in this badly made new game.

Sure the 2022 has some things better when it comes to texture and world, that's obvious, but man you can see clear as water the lack of passion and care the 2022 have.
