Nice, thanks for the insight into an analog tremolo! Maybe do a analog delay or phaser next? This would probably be a much more complicated circuit but would be great to know more about it.

At 12:52, the graph of the output signal is asymmetric about the 0mV line. The +ve signal is attenuated more than the -ve. I'd be interested to know more about that, such as why it happens, and how it sounds.

This is due to R4, R5, R6, and R7 not perfectly biasing Q1 down the center at 4.5V out of 9V, as well as Q2's slightly off-biasing. So, there is a bit of asymmetry caused by that. However, relative slight asymmetry does typically sound more natural, so most people don't really notice it. You'll often hear people say the same thing about asymmetrical clipping sounding "more natural".

Thanks for the video. I am learning LT Spice thanks to your video series. How about a BMP next? I think its a fascinating circuit. Is it a Fuzz? An overdrive? A distortion? This should provide a lot of discussion.

So not actually a harmonic tremolo? Schaller clone PCB in the drawer and I guess that's where it's doing to stay. Great video. Been meaning to take the dive into the software, looks super helpful!

Amazing series of videos! Just one question. How can i add a mod to change the waveform with this schem? I mean from sine to square.

It would be a change to the oscillator section, but it would work.

Very nice tremolo. I have some thoughts on it: The very expensive holy grail Diaz Tremodillo is a Schaller based ciruit "they" say. This Vanilla Trem should be very close to the Tremodillo, wich i like very much... Any thoughts on this?

I have the Schaller. It's nice, but doesn't sound exaxtly like the ones on Fender amps - it's a bit clinical. Is there a reason for this? I know some of them use optical components ...

I tried to order the pcb. The shipping of this little 8$ PCB is 22$ ? This is bonkers, sorry. Throw it in an envelope and when it gets lost it's lost.
