CrushlivePoker Also Bart I have to point out what I believe to be a flaw in your logic. You are playing against a pro and if a pro is going to raise his Ac5c and take a shot on the turn and then give up on most rivers he’s going to raise more than 1400 which isn’t even a 3X raise.

I think the right play is to go all in. He is getting 2 to 1 on a call. Let say his never folding set in this spot. You also think about combo draws your opponent can have. You want them to pay see the river card. You don't want to rely on them betting on the river. You also factor in a scared card can't kill your action. You want to be balance if you have combo draw you should be shoving hear as well.

Rinoxp Gaming I would fold every hand here to Bart including 77. he has no bluffs, he admitted that, and he is never shoving worse for value. that means bart only has QQ here when he shoves and would lose $3800 by shoving here and watching me fold 77. if he calls he can shove over my river bet and the price will be to good for me to fold a set then. The kid even admitted he made a mistake and never should’ve called and if you just would’ve thought a little longer I think he would’ve come to the right collusion and folded.

You might as well just turn your hand face up then on the turn and say 'it's gonna cost you a grand to chase'. And then what do you do if a club hits? The only worse option than min raising the turn would have been to fold.

gerry o sullivan I completely agree this isn’t an Internet hand we are going to play about 7 million of them and everyone has your stats. I believe the balanced play here is the call with everything you’re not folding and you should have no Bluffs here. I think if Bart had known the stack sizes he would’ve just called which would be the right play.

it also is a little unfair to those that have folded because the decision to run it once or twice is only made after the folded players have folded. Thus there can be an element of collusion

Easy to say from the cheap seats. When playing live, it's much harder than online to keep track of how many chips everyone has at the table, how much is in the pot, how much the guy has behind. All of the chips were going in, doesn't really matter.

If it didn't, he wouldn't talk so much! I agree that everything was going in with these specific hands but there are differences.

It makes no difference to the EV in the hand how many times you run it. Most of the time I run it once it has nothing to do with if I am ahead or behind. But if I did chose to run it only once when I was ahead and twice when I was behind it still makes NO difference.

@@williamzagarella8066 your equity in the pot does not change no matter how many times you run the river. If you have a flush draw with one card to come in a $1000 pot your equity is 20% and EV is $200. If you run it once your EV is $200, if you run it 4 times your EV is $200. The only thing that running it multiple times does is bring the overall result closer to the EV. When you run it once there are two outcomes- $1000 or $0. If you run it four times each pot is split into $250 pots. So if you win one and lose 3 times you end up with $250. Or if you win two and lose two you end up with $500 and so on and so on. If you run it 4 times with 20% equity the most likely result is that you will win 1/4 resulting in $250 which brings the overall result closer to your actual EV in the hand.

the EV is very close but not exactly the same. if u run it once it’s 1/44 (which is 2.27%) to hit the last 7. if you run it twice it’s ((1/44+1/43) / 2) (which is 2.25%)

Even knowing that Bart is unbalanced towards value, how will you fold 7's in this spot, but typically suggest "snap call" in almost every other hand he discusses on this channel? I know Bart is not bluffing here he has zero Bluffs and he’s never shoving worse here for value he has told me this and I have listened. That means the only hand shoves here is pocket queens so you can correctly fold everything exploitatively. no you are right I am really never for folding the top of your range where is a good player but the circumstances in his hand make it a perfect storm to do so. 1. Too tight solid pros and one fun player In a multi way three bet part. 2. BART betting into two players including the fun player. 3. The tight solid pro three betting the other tight solid pro who just bet in to two players again with one of them being a fun player. he should fold 7’s here.
