6:30 about that. I have mixed feelings. At the same time I am glad that azula got to suffer the consequences of her actions in the show’s finale, but at the same time deep down I kinda do feel sorry for her. Because her good for nothing father groomed her this way since childhood. To ozai, azula was never a daughter to him, just another tool for his stupid 100 year war. And I know so many fans want her to have a redemption and a change of heart, but in the comics it shows that azula doesn’t really want that, she is still crazy as always. Sadly not everyone deserves second chances if they refuse to change for the better. Some people like azula are unfortunately lost causes.

I don't know if I really feel sorry for Azula considering all that she has done both to the world in general and to her brother. She disrespected the Agni Kai by trying to kill Azula instead of admiting defeat. Even tho that last scene is absolutely gut wrecking, I won't feel too bad for her that's for sure, she needs help 😭

Azula merely followed in her nation’s goals. She didn’t took it to the same extremes as her forefathers granted, but she is very much a victim of her own environment and she does appear to have some good in her despite her flaws. Further evidence of this is her being as much of Avatar Roku’s great grandchild as Zuko is. When you look at Azula in comparison to someone like Joffrey Baratheon of Game of Thrones, you see who is truly evil and who is not. Despite some parallels, Azula is infinitely more decent than Joffrey, despite having more power than he ever had.
