Many of Dimash's performances are not really suitable for vocal students because they'll find them far too difficult to sing. After all not many singers have a 7 octave range. A professional opera singer listened to Dimash singing "Olympico" and said she knew of no other opera singer that could sing it because of the huge range required. By the way you can take it from me, Dimash is the greatest all-around singer both technically and artistically the world has ever seen.

Wow, wow Erika!!...I thought I would never see your first reaction to Dimash!!!...Lol!!!...Thank you for accepting our recommendations so that you could meet him!!...I have seen for a long time many of your reactions and I think that you are a person who knows a lot about singing and that is why I wanted you to react to him and give us your opinion...What I like most is that you are very honest when you give your opinion, whether we like it or not. no, so we thank you for that, because in the end that is what we want, a totally sincere reaction....And if in addition to that, you explain to us the different singing techniques used by a singing genius like Dimash, well... What more can we ask for?....Thank you very much and please we hope to see you soon with a new reaction to Dimash!!

This song is a pearl of the French songbook: It is a French-Canadian cyberpunk-rock opera called “Starmania”, written in 1976 by Michel Berger (France) and with lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Canada) and immortalized in the voices of Daniel Balavoine, Diane Dufresne and Gregory Lemarchal. The theme of the song is depression: In the 2021 version, Dimash faithfully and brilliantly presents a sentimental and melancholy interpretation! As the singing decisions follow the original structure of the song, which serves to show the psychological instability of the afflicted character: From the chest voice to the head voice and then to falsetto, the author sought to show a broad need to overcome a moment of despair and the pretense of accepting to reach a higher perspective! Dimash, currently at his concerts, dedicates this song to his friends and acquaintances who have departed this world! Original version - Daniel Belavoine - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b9GKqKeZ2rrPqHk.html

@@erikatorresmusic_this song is just a small sample of what dimash's voice is capable of. You talked about musical genres, Dimash sings all musical genres, rock, pop, R&B, pure opera. whether you see a video where he sings Celine Dion, or you see a video where he sings pure opera with opera singers like Andrea Bocelli or Plácido Domingo. Yes, Dimash has already sung with these gods of classical music despite his still young age. The prodigious vocal technique he has and his vocal range allow him to sing all the genres he understands. And finally, don't compare Dimash with Gabriel Henrique, Dimash is on a completely different level. continue to react to the dimash, because what you saw is just the tip of the iceberg.

There are two things you may want to reconsider: 1) Around 17:00 you say that Dimash´s F#5 scream is head voice. No, it is a head-mix actually. Yes, most men cannot mix such high notes, but Dimash can mix even higher notes. 2) You said that the larynx is a muscle. Actually, it is a cartilage moved by muscles.

Hello, I think what you said "head voice" as he did a high note is actually a mix voice, not just a head voice. It's a technique where every rock singer use as a way to reach the high note. For example Iron Maiden, Helloween, Dio, Dream Theater, and more. Also, I remember some vocal coach says that Belting is when a voice hits a chest voice “ceiling”, while mix voice can go effortlessly throughout their range, and Dimash's mix is very blended. That's why we almost can't hear the chest, because he mix it so well and balance. The vowel is just his signature.

Sorry but I made it less than half the way through the video before I turned it off. Unless you can actually replicate exactly what he is doing you shouldn't ever attempt to show what he's doing by singing it. Also to say that you don't like his type of music just demonstrates how little you know of him. Unlike most artists Dimash can't be put in a "genre box". He sings what he wants, when he wants with equal ease and skill, he's gone from singing Weekend with DJ Burak Yeter to a full on operatic duet with Placido Domingo. You might be used to singers in the US that stay in their own little one genre, 2 octave lanes but this is Dimash, who has more tools in his toolbox than any other artist on the planet.

He has his Master's in composition and classical music and is getting his PhD in contemporary music now. 🎶 He is especially in technical sense the best vocalist in the world and possibly ever! Welcome to our beloved Dimash family of #Dears4Life and trust me doll, the flfloodgates are opening up for you rt now! His fan base spans almost every country in the world 🌎 peace, Love and Light to you always ❤️ 💖 I train my voice with him every day since I found him 💓 and now with you too😅 switching the sounds etc...

As usual, you are very good at picking up the details of Dimash. (I would like to point out a detail of your videos, which you are probably already aware, but may or may not confuse viewers and that is that the video is reversed. The high notes on the piano are on the left rather than on the right. I'm sure this can be fixed but, after being this way from the beginning, it may confuse viewers more if it were fixed.) Since you have now done Dimash, I would hope that you will eventually get around to So Hyang. Anyway, keep up the good work, take some extra D3, C, Zinc etc. and get healthy!!

I actualy find my self not to be depressed thinking Dimash imposiible for me. Inspite I cannot reach to his vocal ability. But somehow it pushes me to keep trying it and looking for ways how to do it. So creazy inspirating for me. And I wish this for everyone. Please dont feel bad you cannot reach it. Just try and have fun with your voice. I think Dimash would also never wanted to people feel any bad and wished for everyone to love their voice and singing ❤

Thanks for your reaction, Dimash doesn't have a well defined style, because he sings in many different styles, pop, rock, opera, blues, funk, folk, ... and many times mixing different styles in the same song. I recommend you a very different one, Give me your love (version 2021)

🎼✅Not funk/r&b, but that was a great analysis (even if it made me stupider). That said, the spontaneous harmonizing with him about half way through, amidst so much stop/start/discuss, was a particular delight for me. If you're willing react to a song, or rather performance by him, that should be more up your alley, at least genre-wise, please react to his recent remake of Dudarai. (You'll see it if you google it.) Feel free to skip the rest of this comment unless you'd like a bit of background info about the song, the performance, and what led to it: According to his Wikipedia page (and some other better sources I know), Dimash got a classical singing degree in 2014, contemporary pop/jazz degree in 2018, masters in composition in 2020, and is close to getting his doctorate in musicology. He's shown his chops in many genres since 2012, when My Beauty, his first song and video of note appeared (he had composed the pop tune to it when he was 15 and then fronted a band singing it as a 17 year old, with lyrics by his relatively old-fashioned dad (!)). But for a decade plus, anything remotely jazz like had been notable by its absence. A couple years ago I discovered Dudarai has been an important song in its own right for over a century. You can research it a bit yourself online if you care, perhaps starting with the short Wikipedia page about its author, but it seems Dudarai has been a storied song in both the popular cultures and counter-cultures of the 3rd and 9th largest countries in the world for about a century, for radically different reasons in each, and, notably, all but buried in the largest country in the world despite the author supposedly being from it. I think there's something about this combination that means Dimash has a soft spot for it. Dimash has quietly built up a key role in bringing countries and cultures together worldwide. It's perhaps the layers of meaning of this song for perhaps the most important three way country nexus in the world right now that led him to chose it for a key event last fall -- and then remake it like no one has ever done before for that song. Here's hoping you react to (and analyze, and maybe sing along to little rewinds of fragments of) his new version of Dudarai. Peace and love from the UK 🕊💚

Another "professional" who does not even know how to distinguish vocal registers. To be able to appreciate Dimash's singing, you should have at least degrees in both classical and contemporary music. But what are we talking about when chest voice, mix voice and head voice cannot be distinguished from each other. ( In my time, vocal registers were taught in the first semester, now most of them are either dilettantes or have been removed from teaching🤦) By the way, I often noticed that they repeat the notes in the video, someone will think how well they sing like Dimash, but then they sing Dimash's song in its entirety, it sounds like a kindergarten celebration. 25:27 what mix ? 🤦Have you ever listened to a classical tenor? There are different techniques for singing with a chest voice. That is perfect tenor high B but I'm not surprised cause most if the time " professionals" on this app have no idea what is high chest voice or generally operatic vocal and techniques. mostly i only watch professional videos, but it seems that I am more and more amazed by their videos, they say so much nonsense. They use all their knowledge but in such a confused way( 25:27At first you say that he is using a mixed voice and then on the same note (B4) you say that he is using an operatic voice 25:41 logic?) that they are not even sure what they are talking about.

Welcome to the best 🐇 🕳 ever‼️ This was a 3hr LIVE digital concert for his fans during lockdown ✨🤍✨ 🆘 The song itself is from Starmania a Canadian-French cyberpunk rock opera written in 1976. 👼🏻 Gregory Lemarchal was a young French singer who was the inspiration for DIMASH to sing 🆘 “SOS d'un terrien en detresse" Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at a young age, Gregory defined all odds and won the fourth series of the singing contest Star Academy. He became an overnight sensation in France and went on to have a successful career. He was known for "La voix d'un ange"- the voice of an angel. Erika, you got a new subscriber because you belong to a very small group of those who present themselves as singing teachers and you noticed all the little things that they are not! I'm only sorry that you didn't emphasize that in the first stanza he sang 3.5 octaves and by the end of the song he raised it to four and a half octaves, singing like a real soprano and not like a counter tenor! I'm waiting for your new analysis of Dimash, whom I consider to be the best singer born on planet earth! Maybe Farinelli could sing like that judging by the descriptions, but unfortunately we have no records! Greeting!

About He is famous for having an unusually wide vocal range and his ability to sing in more than fifteen languages. Dimash was born Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan on the 24th of May, 1994. When he was only five years old, Dimash began taking vocal and piano lessons at the children's section of the Akhmet Zhubanov Music College. He continued his training throughout his school years and eventually attended the music institute of K. Zhubanov University. He graduated in 2014 with a classical music degree centred on vocal ability. He continued his musical education by studying contemporary music Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana. He successfully received a Master's degree in Composition and was even recommended for the PhD program. Throughout his time at university, Dimash entered four major singing competitions in Kazakhstan. He won the National Zhas Kanat Contest with a perfect score of 180 out of 180, which was unprecedented in the competition's history. In December 2014, he was awarded a laureate of the State Youth Prize Daryn. He released his first album in China the same year, and it went platinum in thirty-seven seconds! Singer-songwritermulti-instrumentalist Genres Classical crossover pop folk classical worldoperatic pop I cant say he is best singer in the world because answer will be subjective anyway thats question like which one is better Vincent van Gogh or Leonardo da Vinci but as amateur vocalist I can say technicially he is best vocalist who is still living in the planet not just because of he has amazing range but he mastered at every register and technics especially his flageolet register(his soprano falsetto voice) also his whistle register better then any male singer then I ever heard and his mix register technic incredible and he mastered at belt I no is not YOUR CUP of TEA! For him is so simple sinning your typo music! Dimash Qudaibergen/Maestro PlacidoDomingo(83 old)-Pearl Fishers Duet, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mr-deMacr9Cco58.html&start_radio=1 This is a dream come true for Dimash. He shared that, at the age of 5, he had a VHS of a concert by Maestro Domingo. He dreamed from then to now to meet and work with the Maestro. This was part of a program called Virtuosos, which supports young classical artists. Dimash was invited to be a judge on the program by Maestro Domingo. I know he appreciated the opportunity to support young artists. We are all do proud of him and hope all his dreams come true. Dimash learned this in one day and had only one rehearsal.
