Yeah, it will be interesting to see if Guyton can continue to develop. Probably the 5th rated best OT in draft. Beebe was a GREAT pick! That dude is mean and moves people.

Guyton was the blindside protector at o.u, didn't play oline originally so give him time and he will be a stud

Can't really hate on Guyton for being humble and knowing his potential, and being thankful and taking advantage of his opportunity, no doubt he will be successful!

Can't forget the CB we drafted in the fifth round! Who else was drafted in the fifth round? Daron Bland not saying he's gonna break the pick record but Al Harris is gonna work his magic and get us another great CB hopefully. Even if he's just serviceable it'll be a big win

I really think Dan Quinn’s system helped both him and Diggs the year prior. Don’t expect more INTs with Zimmer but more sound and fundamental football.

I think a lot of folks will be pleasantly surprised at Guyton at LT, folks were down on Tyler Smith out there and he was stellar in his rookie season. I'd say that Smith and the coaches will get him up to speed quickly. As for center a lot depends on how quickly Beebe can pick up the concepts and how he sees the defenses and can make the O-line calls, Hoffman will probably have a fight on his hands. I cant wait to see what these young guys look like in game action, it will certainly be a solid interior O-line with Martin, Smith and Beebe, those D-lines will have some very long days. On Defense we have to hope that Overshown and Liufau can come in and be tough against the run, as well as Mazi benefitting from Zimmers schemes. I think on the backside the CBs will get fewer INTs but wont get burnt as much. Just my 2 cents worth, lol.

Signing bonuses can circumvent cap restraints. Jerry can afford it more so than most owners

@@kattiegodfrey1656 "can" circumvent...but the total cap hit for a player in a given year includes their base salary, prorated bonuses (like signing bonuses), and any other bonuses. Teams must manage these cap hits to stay within the league’s salary cap limits. A very real issue. However, I wish there wasn't a cap because Jerry could outspend every other team.

Cowboy fanboys refuse to accept the fact that the salary cap is real because the prefere to attack Jerry.... Despite the multiple pro bowl players.... the sentiment is the front office is horrible because we have not won the Super Bowl The O-Line back to dominating will make all the difference

Interesting take on the LB from Notre Dame. I hope you are right. I was one of the ones hoping for a rb at that pick. But If ML works out, that would be amazing. I am starting to like this young LB core of the 'Boys with Overshown, Clark, and Liufau.

Terrance Steele signed a 5 year , 82.5 million dollar contract in 2023. 50 million in guaranteed money , 15 million dollar signing bonus, and an average annual salary of 16.5 million. The Cowboys organization would never admit that they made a mistake at signing Steele to that type of contract and sit him on the bench. Even if Tyler Guyton is the better right tackle. So , it's Tyler Guytons position at LT and we will see the ups and downs of his growth at left tackle. That Terrance Steele contract is one of the many I question

I think on that ending part us as fans would have felt a lot better had they gone after free agent Derrick Henry cause we still yet have no RB thanks once again to the Panthers smh. But I hope for the best cause I think Jerry might blow it all up if not or atleast a partial blow up which isn't going to be good cause then you have another potential 5yrs before doing anything again.

Salary cap is real, but it is an indicator of talent per dollar, as Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady really represent well. But then, I don't watch Super Bowls anymore, just Cowboy struggles paying tons of money to the few and less to the want to bees. San Francisco and Kansas City will probably have the greatest chance of winning the Super Bowl for another decade because of the mix of talent per dollar. Jerry just tunes the payout to keep the Cowboy franchise at the top, not the talent.

The Jones’s need to let players choose the number they wear. They won’t give Agent 0 wear the Zero, and now Kneeland is wearing #94, the number worn by that loser, Randy Gregory; why would you want a player wearing the same number as a player who lied and turned against the Cowboys?? And Hohensee is pronounced, HO-HEN-SEE, with the accent on the HO. 😎 I do think that instead of trying to sign EVERYONE, we pay Cee Dee, let Dak walk and TRADE Micah for (HIGH) Draft Picks, BEFORE he’s due to be paid the GIANT deniro.

Brock Hoffmann will NOT touch the field this season. Cooper Beebe will be the starter by mid training camp. Also Nate Thomas is being moved to guard. He is the potential Zach Martin replacement

Brock Hoffman will get to play, probably 4th quarters when we're up and some other situations. He just won't be starting. Hoffman is good, but Beebe is special.

The Cao is an issue in Dallas BC the "Falling Leaves" doesn't work. Teams that identify talent early spread the money over the rookie deal years, while the Cowboys back load deals. Dak has a Cao hit of 35 million next season and he is not even under contract! That's Jerry's kids fault!
