this video was super fun and cool! i would love to see more authortubers do this, it gives such a cool insight on their characters that you wouldn't get form just reading their books. a little bit of a suggestion under the cut... - - - from one writer to another, i know this might come off as rude/reaching or a little nitpicky, but your your final character Merilda, while she does seem super sweet and i'm sure you don't mean this at ALL, but having your only darker skinned female character be a 'motherly' figure comes off a little bit as the 'mammy' stereotype (for research, i would google phrases such as 'how the mammy stereotype impacts black women, and there's quite a few KZfaq videos dissection the movie The Help that are great references) . again, i am sure you don't mean for this to be the case, i just wanted to warn you that people might get that vibe (like me). this can be combated simply by having more darker female characters of colour that do not fill a motherly role, which, of course, you might already have since this video does not include every oc you have, or just by ensuring that Merilda has a life and other traits other than just being the orphans surrogate mother. anyways, i'm sure it was not your intention in the slightest ana, and of course if one day you are to get this published a sensitivity reader might point this out, i just wanted to give my take.

Omg I did this a couple days ago with my cousin, (AKA my BESTIE) we did this with a fun little series that we keep to ourselves called friendship adventures, it basically me and her and me and her pets, (only one dog all cats haha ) it’s so much fun! I’ll def do it with my own characters! I just started plotting a book today (well only a small bit,) but your videos help me so so MUCH!!! Love the video❤❤❤ Also an idea! Ranking your projects, or fantasy worlds!!!

I love the way how you just immediately put Ned in 'I would run if I saw his face' 😂😂, didn't even hesitate 🤣🤣. No but seriously, I love this idea. I love how nearly if not all the main cast of project. Ghost are in the last tier. Maybe you could a ranking of your fantasy books based on if you would be able to survive in them? I don't lol. Or like ranking your OC's (the villains?) that you hate, maybe the top rank would be like 'hate them but high-key kinda like them' or instead of doing it for your OC's (just realised that this could potentially spoil your books) you could do it for some of your favourite books. Don't know.

Thank you Ana! I love you talking about your OCs its gets me so excited to make my own! Which is actually something I never thought of doing before I found your channel!! So, I have seen another comment about this, but just want to also say that even though you didn't include all your characters (like Dell, a personal fave), but the lack of representation of characters with different skin tones stood out quite a lot and I'm sure there's no intention behind it, but a lot of fiction is heavily "white-washed" and "Western" and any characters representing POC or minority groups tend to then be used to fill stereotypes, as the other comment pointed out. Or I've seen a lot of Asian-inspired characters filling the stereotype of "smart" or black characters being athletes, ect. Just something to bare in mind, no hate at all, like I said I'm sure it's not intentional! Anyways love your videos, you're such an inspiration! 💗

I think it's so interesting what we think as beautiful or not. While watching I as wondering if you are much into K-Pop because a lot of your male characters seem very feminine. Asian beauty standards are on very different level than the rest of the world but seem to have a huge impact on the younger generation. Another thought that came to me was that the span of different character ages grows the older you get. And that gives you a whole plethora of possibilities for stories! The older you get and the more experiences in life you have the more you can identify with certain ages and write about it. I would love to see OCs of yours and stories that you are writing when you are in our 30s or 40s!!!

Your characters are so interesting! When they start to scare you, like your red character, you know they seem real. Maybe I should rank my characters, especially my characters Valentine, who is mean spirited, and my gothic character, Violet, who is kindhearted and free spirited.
