Yes, it will break all known encryptions. Which means hackers will finally be able to decrypt those government databases they stole a few years ago. We'll finally learn some nasty, nasty secrets. Like existence of aliens. Or more likely, international sabotages. Some wars might start after knowing some facts, knowing who really was behind things. Things that governments will never declassify. All those encrypted phones in FBI evidence boxes, full of pedo shit and murders. Lotta people are going to jail. Trump included. Probably some celebrities, too.

Records will always be broken. This saying is a testament to Natural selection. You may have not opened your eyes to information. That does not say, you are always going to be you. You can create a better version of yourself. You cannot create a better person. Nature does that. Natural selection. Here is how that works. The best scoring athlete is outperformed by another person. A better athlete. The genius is outsmarted by a better version of genius. Natural selection. You cannot say if I am the smartest person ever, and I pro-create with the next smartest compatible person ever, you will create an even smarter person. That will not work every time. That is not natural selection. Natural selection is evident with children. Children determine their future in a single thought. I am going to be a lawyer. I am going to be a cop. I am going to be an Astronaut. The children that became exactly what they set out to be at five years young. That is evidence that Natural selection exists.

Short Summary: Recent breakthroughs in quantum computing are promising. MIT's tiny tin vacancy qubits, successful quantum teleportation by Fonic and Microsoft, and new topological qubits all show potential for more scalable and error-resistant quantum systems. While challenges remain, these advances could lead to practical quantum computers and even a quantum internet in the coming years.

11:26: One thing I would like to add. When the quantum coherence gets better and better. I expect that we will be able to add more values to 0,1 10, 01 that we have today. With more meaningful control over the error rate. I don't see why with more coordination over the collapse of the weave function, relative to one Qbit, that we cannot add more values to this. So, what we have today is the collapse of the weave function and are aiming at a coherence of 4 values. I don't see why we cannot add another couple, and say shoot for enough co-ordination for 6 or eight values. And this is the interesting part. What happens hundreds of years from now, when we get enough values to equal 256 or the amount of values that are in the ASCII character code:) I like to imagine:) What would this mean for stuff like AI??? I think it's an area for mass improvement that people don't thinks about these days. obviously, cos it seems miles off. And the big point. How much more freedom could something like this represent for the coders???? Will we adapt our thinking to fit the hardware of today. Or will breakthroughs in the hardware make coding easier? or change the way we look at coding?? or open up the pool of stuff we can do??? I personally think we just need to learn to think that way to open up the pool of stuff that we can code with quantum. And here is an even bigger question. What happens when we sever the classical compute all together. Photonic is not restricted by heat, and could potentially use them to replace every classical chip. Could we abandon zero and one altogether? for something more powerful?

Each transistor on the CPU, switches 0 and 1. Qbit's also have 2 states, although with superposition they can also have both. This dual-state property allows qubits to perform complex computations and enable quantum algorithms. However, a single qubit can only hold one classical bit of information. When qubits are entangled (such as in a Bell state), they can transfer more information, but each individual qubit remains limited to a single classical bit. It would make more sense to create a quantum processor using the same CPU architecture, expanding each transistor to have 90 degree rotated pairing of 2-1 doubling of transistors, with additional microcode to handle entangled states, measure etc.. It makes zero sense to have a quantum CPU, that has no basis to build from. Obviously, starting from a working CPU and expanding properties, has the precedence of a non-quantum classical computer as a background, on which to build.

Quantum computing in the next seventy-six years or by the end of this century is realistic but so is that it will never work. What encourages me is that all the money being put into this tech means key people are beating it will work. Also, there is the benefit of basic research that may well reveal other breakthroughs or discoveries not at all expected. It is great to have your skill in explaining what is way beyond my layman understanding.
