What an amazing band! Songs like this one are driving me crazy.. But have you seen them live with their album The Optimist? That performance was actually kind of weak. Unfortuneatly i only made it to one of their concerts of that tour so i cant exclude that they just had a bad evening tho

Skilful use of a vocoder creates such a unique texture and the band put it to remarkable emotional effect in "Closer". This is probably my favourite song from the band.
