The big toe looks like it’s turning slightly to the second toe. Is this normal or is it an early sign of bunions?

This can be caused by the shoe pressing the toes together. While the shoes are not on during the X-ray the toe remains that way because of soft tissue tightening. Now this also can be the beginning of bunions however in this situation we don't see any protrusion of the first met head towards the center line. So in this particular situation I do not think this is an early sign of bunions. I appreciate your thoughtful comment. Thumbs up to you.
