Initialy the study of human anatomy may appear very difficult. It's true that it is complex and your studies will not change that. As for it being overwhelming, this can be solved if you take your study one step at a time. I discovered an article on Sebs Study Crammer very helpful for this.

As someone going into nursing school, I'm wondering what the HESI was like if you happened to take it. Would information like this help, or would it be somewhat superfluous?

awesome video! I just wanted to add- the liver has four lobes, not two :) there is the left and right lobe which are seen anteriorly, but there are also the caudate and quadrate lobes which can be seen from an inferior view.

Excellent video. Thank you. One small caveat with lactose intolerance. I a lot of people with it can't drink milk or eat ice cream, but can eat cheese because most of the lactose is in the whey instead of the cheese itself. They can also eat yogurt because the bacteria break it down.

this is really awesome, I like that you add some side info's in there! btw, with ulcers and stress relationship. We do have H. Pylori in our stomach but we are asymptomatic until H.Pylori becomes an opportunistic Pathogen. That's when We are stressed, our cortisol level goes up, inhibiting production of prostaglandin by inhibiting synthesis of arachidonic acid. Prostaglandin PGE2 is responsible for both stomach acid secretion and mucous secretion. These either binds to EP3 or EP4. If it binds with EP4 that means increase in stomach acid thus increase in mucous production that protects the stomach. When it binds with EP3 it tries to save little energy by cutting off mucosal production. But PGE2 has more affinity with EP3. Less PGE2 means all these will have binded with EP3 before it could bind with EP4 which leads to decrease stomach acid and thereby decrease in mucosal secretion, making stomach vulnerable to the opportunistic H.Pylori which then takes advantage the thin mucosal level that protects the sensitive stomach lining from strong stomach contents
